Chapter 11- Lots Of Love

(Raph's P.O.V.)

I left Mia's room and question popped into my head. Why isn't she at the hospital with her parents? Something must have happened after I left. I decided to go see why Mia left the hospital. It was still day so I couldn't leave yet. I needed something to do but what. I went to the dojo. Master Splinter was meditating so I left carefull not to disturb him.

Mikey was out skate boarding in the sewers, Leo was training, and Don was working on some machine of his. There was nothing to do. I decided I could go topside considering it would be dark in less than an hour. I opened the manhole cover and went to the rooftops. I made my way to the hospital and waited till nightfall. Then I went to Mia's parents room. Her dad was asleep but her mom was awake.

"Hey why'd Mia leave?" I asked. "It's her father. They fight sometimes." She said. "Was it about me?" "Yes but they should get over it. You seem like a nice boy and I trust you. Mia's father in the other hand is not so fond of you." "Thank you." "Your welcome. Tell Mia that I love her and that I miss her." I nodded and left.

I found out Mia's dad doesn't like me but her mom does. Great just great. Oh well as long as Mia is happy with me that's all that matters. Not her parents opinion. I returned to the lair to see Mia playing video games with Mikey. She looked like she just got up. I walked over to them and sat by Mia.

"Hey Raph. Where have you been?" Mia asked. "I went to talk to your parents." I said. "You did?" "Yup." "What'd they say." "Well your dad was asleep but your mom told me why you left. She also told me to tell you that she loves you and misses you." Mia took a deep breath still paying attention to the game. "So you found out my dad doesn't like you?" "Yeah and I'm perfectly fine with it."

"Really?" She asked. "Really. It shouldn't matter what he thinks. Only what you think. Your happiness is all that matters." I said. She paused the video game and hugged me. "Thanks Raph." "Anything for you." I said. She kept playing video games with Mikey but she sat on my lap. I watched over her shoulder as she beat Mikey.

"Not again!" He yelled. Mia smiled and laughed. "I wanna rematch!" Mikey yelled. "Ok ok if it'll get you to stop whining." Mia said. "I will stop only if I win." The game started. The game was almost over and Mia was about to win until Mikey grabbed the remote out of her hands. "Hey! You cheater give that back!" Mia yelled reaching for the remote.

Mikey only held it further away. The score was tied and I snagged both remotes from Mikey. "Hey! Give those back!" He yelled. "Nah I'm good." I said getting up. "What are you doing with my remotes!?" "Something." I walked to my room and his the remotes in my closet. I came out to see Mia and Mikey yelling at each other. "I would've kicked your shell if you didn't take my remote!" Mia yelled.

"Well I would've kicked yours if Raph didn't take the remotes from me!" Mikey yelled. I went over to them and picked Mia up. I threw her over my shoulder and walked towards the dojo. "Hey put me down I'm not done yelling at him!" Mia yelled. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking towards the dojo.

(Mia's P.O.V.)

You were busy yelling at Mikey and you didn't even realize Raph came back. He threw you over his shoulder and walked towards the dojo. "Hey put me down I'm not done yelling at him!" You yelled. Raph just ignored you and kept walking towards the dojo. He set you down in front of the punching bag.

"You and Mikey are so alike when it comes to video games. Punch the bag." Raph said. You punched it knowing he was helping you blow off steam. Then you remembered you forgot to get something for Raph. Your one year anniversary was tomorrow and you got nothing for him. You ran out of the lair. "Where are you going!?" Raph yelled behind you.
