Chapter 10- Meeting The Parents

(Raph's P.O.V.)

My brothers, Mia, and I went topside. Once we got to the rooftops we heard a crash. We went to the scene and saw that two cars had collided. It happens all the time so my brothers and I didn't worry. We started to leave but Mia wouldn't move. She looked shocked.

She started to run down a firescape towards the car crash. I didn't know what she was trying to do but I couldn't stop her. She was already down the firescape. She started to run towards the ambulances but a cop held her back. I felt bad for Mia but I didn't know what was wrong and I couldn't do anything for her right now.

(Mia's P.O.V.)

You ran down the firescape not stopping. You wanted to see if your parents were alright. You may be mad at them for all the times they yelled at you but you loved them. You tried to get to them but a cop held you back. "Let me go I need to get to them!" You yelled trying to get out of his grip. You were on the edge of bursting into tears.

"Miss I'm gonna need you calm down and stop struggling." The cop said holding you tighter. He wouldn't let you go and you watched as the ambulances pulled away. You stopped struggling and burst into tears. You fell to your knees and buried your hands in your face. The cop kneeled down beside you.

"Miss did you know one of the four injured?" He asked. "Parents." That was all you could spit out. The cop helped you up. "How about I give you a ride to the hospital. You'll have to wait to see them but it might help." You nodded and you went to the squad car. The cop let you in the front and went into the drivers seat.

"The names James by the way." He said as he started the car. "Mia." You said. The rest of the ride to the hospital was silent. You got out of the car and so did James. He took you to the waiting room and told the nurses your situation. Then he came over to you and gave you a slip of paper with his name and number on it. "If you ever need anything call me." You nodded and he walked.

So you waited and waited. You almost fell asleep once. Then a nurse walked up to you and sat beside you. "Your the girl who's parents came in a little over two days ago right?" You nodded even though you had no idea how long it had been. You don't even remember sleeping or eating. "Come on." You got up and followed the nurse to a room.

Inside the room were you parents. Your mom had a cast on her right arm and her left leg. Her head was also wrapped in a bandage. Your dad had a cast on his right leg and both arms. His head was also wrapped. You and the nurse walked over to your mom's bed. "Mia is that you?" She asked. You nodded with tears in your eyes. You gave her a gentle hug knowing she was in pain. She hugged back. "I missed you." She said. "I missed you too mom." When you let go you looked over to your dad.

He was asleep. You wanted him to be awake right now but knew it was good for him to be resting. "I love you dad." You said. He couldn't hear you but you wanted him to. The nurse left you in the room with your parents. You sat on the couch in the room and buried your hands in your face. "Sweetie everything will be fine." Your mother said.

"This shouldn't have happened. I could've done something." You said. "There was nothing you could've done. The man was drunk and your father couldn't get out of the way in time. I know this isn't the right condition our reunion should have been in but your here and were all together. Where have you been all this time?" Your mom asked. You didn't want to lie but you couldn't exactly tell them you've been staying with your ninja turtle boyfriend, his brothers, and their rat sensei.

"I've been staying with my boyfriends family." You said. "Oh and who is this boyfriend of yours?" Your mom asked. "His name is Raphael but everyone calls him Raph." "And what is he like." "He's big, strong, caring, kind, sweet, and he has always been there through all the tough times. We may fight but we love each other." "And how long have you two been dating?" "Almost a year." "A year and I haven't met him!? That will be the first thing your dad and I will do when we get out of here." "Um you can't."
