Chapter 13- Dresses, Pranks, And More Pranks

(Mia's P.O.V)

You woke up in the living room. April and Vern were passed out on the couch. Vern had his arm around April and the guys were no where in sight. They probably went to there rooms after I fell asleep. You thought. You went to check and were right. Each turtle was asleep in their room.

You went to the kitchen and hot some pizza. You didn't even heat it up. April came into the kitchen with her hair a mess. "Good morning." She said resting her head on the counter. You couldnt help but laugh. "Good morning." You said laughing a bit.

"Mia can I borrow your brush? I wasn't really planning to spend the night." April asked. "Yeah sure." You said. You and April walked to your room and you gave her your brush. "Thanks a lot Mia I really appreciate it." April said handing you your brush back. "Don't mention it." You said.

You and April returned to the living room. Everyone else was still asleep so she figured it would be the perfect time to go dress shopping. You two left a note for the guys and left. You got topside and then decided you wanted your mom's opinion on your dress.

"April we gotta stop somewhere first." You said. "Ok?" She questioned. You went to your parents apartment and climbed up the firescape to the window. You looked inside to see your mom. You went in. "Mom I need you to come with me." "Sure but why?" She asked. "We're going dress shopping." "Alright but if you don't mind I'll go out the door instead of the window." You nodded and went to the front of the building.

Your mom cane out with a smile on her face. "Who's this?" She asked. "Hi I'm April O'Neil you must be Mia's mother." April said. "Yes I am." The three of you walked top the dress shop. There were rows opon rows of dresses. You stood there mouth wide open. Your mother and April took off to go find a dress for you to try on. You did the same thing but none if the ones you looked at really appealed to you.

You met up with April and your mom at the stalls where you could try on the dresses they had picked out. You tried on the dress April had picked out first. It had gemstones on about every inch of it. The dress also had long sleeves. You didn't like it so you decided to try on another one. The one your mom picked had some rings that wrapped around your waist. They had little gems every few inches. The rest of it was plain but you loved it.

"I like this one." You said coming out of the stall. Your mother and April both gasped. "You look so beautiful!" Your mom said. "You look amazing Mia!" April said. "Thanks. I'm gonna change back" you went back into the stall and changed. Your mom and April went to the counter and paid for the dress while waiting for you. You decided to keep the dress at April's so nobody else would see it.

"Now we get to go cake shopping!" April shrieked. "April pizza not cake pizza. We don't even know the date yet so we can't go order it yet." You said. April calmed down a bit but was still happy. "I dont think there's anything else we can do until we figure out a date." April said. You shrugged. "I guess we'll have to talk to Raph about that. Um mom I don't know quite everything yet but I'll tell you once we get it all figured out ok." You said.

"Alright sweetheart. I should probably be getting home anyways. Love you." Your mom said. "Love you too mom." You said. You and April quick went to her apartment and dropped off the dress. Then the two of you returned to the lair. You had been gone for around an hour and the guys still weren't up. Even Vern was still passed out on the couch. "They're all lazy." April said. You nodded in agreement. The guys usually never slept in it was just weird.

"Is something wrong with the guys? They never sleep in this late." April said. You shrugged. "Maybe it's just because they were up late last night?" "Maybe who knows?" You and April decided to just let the guys sleep in peace. Well not completely. You and April planned to prank ask off they guys. You guys faced some permanent markers and drew on Vern's face. He looked really stupid.
