"Yn is everything I'm not"
Suddenly the girl who was once forgotten by everybody, was suddenly wanted by everybody.
You, the girl who was described to have every boy magically wrapped around your finger, finally had enough. Or did you bottle it all...
As me and Cedric walk back to our common room, I take a step too far on the moving staircase and nearly go falling 50 feet down if it wasn't for Cedric catching me by my waist before I did. As I stood back up in shock, Cedric must of forgot to remove his arm from my waist. That was putting me in more of a shock. "Fucking hell that was a heart attack and a half" I say as I let out a sigh of relief. "I already don't know what you would do without me" Cedric laughs as I giggle back.
After we make it to the Hufflepuff common room, he says goodbye to me. "I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning ynn" He waved as he left to go towards the boys dorms with one of his other friends. But holy crap somebody pinch me, he just gave me a nickname.
I went back into my dorm that only I stay in since my dorm mate left halfway through first year. I changed into my pjs. At that moment, I decided I'd finally download Instagram. I decided to post a little something.

I was surprised on how many people liked my photo already, but I wasn't complaining. I tied my hair back as I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I then washed my face.
I hopped into bed and read for a bit, then eventually dozed off to sleep.
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing in my ear, I flipped to my bedside table and pressed my hand on it to shut it up.
It was 7:00am, class started at 8:45am. So I rolled myself out of bed and got dressed. I wrote my robe, a polo shirt, a sweater over it and a skirt with knee length socks.
I went to my mirror and tied my hair back into a half up- half down look. Since my hair was naturally a little curly it curled up a bit. I then done my mascara.
After all that I tied my laces to my converse and chucked my bag over my shoulder.
I walked out of my dorm into the hallway towards the common room. I seen Cedric on one of the couches with two other of his boy friends, so I decided not to interrupt them and I started to walk out the common room. Until I heard my name being called. "Yn, come sit" Cedric shouted over to me, I stopped walking and turned around. He was waving me over to I decided to sit. "Morning sunshine" he said as he seen the tired look on my face. "Morninggg" I said as I placed my bag down. "What time does breakfast start again?" One of Cedric's friends asked. "8" I replied back to him, he looked over at me. "Alright, thanks" he said as he leaned back.
"So ynn, what have you got first thing?" Cedric asked me. "Oh, I've got care for magical creatures I think it's called" I said back. "Lucky, we've got defence against dark arts first" he said as he looked at the clock on the wall, "hey we should start heading to breakfast now" he said as we all nodded and agreed and got up too leave.
We all arrived to the great hall at a decent time.
*time skip to first lesson, (sorry I'm being lazy)*
As me and Cedric and his friends splitter ways, I arrived to my lesson. I wasn't first but I also wasn't last so that was good. When we got there Hagrid was standing with a large box.
Once our class all arrived he started speaking, "Good morning everybody! Hope yous all had a gid summer break" he said as he gently placed the box down. He then started to open the box as my class all curiously tried to see what was inside. He pulled out a decently large egg and turned to us. "Who can tell me what egg this is?" He asked as Hermiones hand shot straight up in the air "yes hermoine'?" Hagrid asked as he pointed to her. "That's a Romanian long horn egg, you can tell from the-" she began to say as Hagrid cut her off.
"I'm afraid you're wrong" he said as she gave him a confused look. Draco chuckled quietly to his friends. "Anyone else?" Hagrid asked. I decided to answer. I put my hand just above my head hoping he'd see it. "Yes yn" he said as the class turned to me. I heard a few whispers like: "that's yn?" "Oh shit I thought that was a new student" "Merlin she looks different" , but I ignored them and answered the question.
"That's a Peruvian Vipertooth, it does look similar to the Romanian long horn but the vipertooth has a small gradient and very lightly coloured spots, the long horn on the other hand doesn't" I said as Hagrid set down the egg gently and started clapping. I was confused why he was clapping but he then started speaking "well done yn! First person I've ever known to answer that right" Hermione gives me a side eye as Hagrid says this. I smile back at Hagrid as he finished his sentence.
"So, it may be a lot to ask but would you also happen to know how to hatch this egg?" He asked me again, so I answered. "Well, it'll take some time, it obviously needs to be in the nest for up to two months before it can start the full process. But, once it's been nesting for two months you can start by taking your thumbs and rubbing them both on the top of the egg, then maybe in around 1 to 2 hours it'll hatch" I replied back as he gave me a surprised but happy look. "Very well done yn! 20 points to hufflepuff!" He said as he gave me a pat on the back. Well, that was me already being a bit nerdy in my first lesson
