Breakfast Bumpiness

"He.. he what?" I said in disbelief, was she serious?
"He's liked you ever since you joined the group. As much as I'm happy for you, maybe don't talk about Cedric as much around him. He really likes you and it's the first time I've seen him with genuine feeling towards somebody" she whispered as she placed her hand on my shoulder and brought me in for a hug.

I completely understood where she was coming from about not talking about him so of course I'll not bring him up. I just couldn't believe he liked me? I walked out the room behind Pansy, closing the door after me.

I obviously chucked a jacket on before we left because god knows how cold it would be. Anyway, we now had to walk down to hogsmede which was a decent amount of walking. I decided I'd act like I didn't know about Lorenzo and his crush. I also decided not too talk to him too much. "Hey yn" Blaise said as he walked next to me as we were going down a staircase. "Hiya Blaise" I said back with a smile. "So, we heard there's a Hufflepuff party" Blaise said as he nudged my shoulder. "How bout you get us invites?" He asked as he smirked.
"Hmm i don't know I don't wanna be the person inviting you guys, what if they get mad?" I replied.
"Oh well, the alcohol will block out all their thoughts eventually. Besides, we bring fun to parties. And I'm sure people from other houses will get invited" he said. How could I say no? They are my best friends after all and I might get a bit lonely eventually. "You know what? Sure. Why not" I giggled as Blaise said "there's the yn we know"

We got to hogsmede eventually. That's when Lorenzo came up to me. "Hey ynn" he said. I completely forgot how to talk for a quick second but I managed to get the word "hello" out. It was soo formal so I got a bit embarrassed but I tried to play it off by just smiling at him after. It's not like he was madly in love with him but apparently he felt genuine love towards me. We made it into hogsmede and went to go for brunch. "So, has anybody been speaking to anybody, apart from yn of course" Theodore said as we all sat down at a table

"No, I quit sending letters to that muggle. My father found out she wasn't even partly witch so I've been banned" Draco says as he rests his head on his hand.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"I'll be fine" he replies. "Not like it would last forever"

That stung. It made me realise that me and Cedric might not last forever. It made me realise I could have easily wasted my first kiss, I always wanted it to be romantic. I couldn't say I regretted it but I wish it wasn't just us sitting in his dorm when we done it. But at the same time, I did. His dorm was basically my home at this point. Suddenly I got snapped out of my day dream.

"Yn!" Pansy was snapping at me, partly whispering. There was a waiter getting our order. "Oh sorry, just the whole meat toast with a boiled egg and bacon" I said.
"And for the drink?" He asked, since I was sitting at one of the end chairs he took a step forward to look over my shoulder at my menu. Uncomfortably close.
"A water" I said coldly. He picked up mine and the rest of our menus up and left while saying a quick "Thank you everyone, your food should come maybe in around 20 minutes"

"Anyway! This party, what are you wearing yn?" Pansy asked me. "Oh I have this really pretty black silk dress, but I was also thinking maybe my pink dress" I said excitedly.
"That's really nice! I've got a dark red dress with these sparkles across it and it's honestly beautiful, but I've actually got a black dress too so who knows, maybe we could match!" She says back.
"Will you guys stop talking about your little dresses and let us join in the convo" Mattheo said. Everyone laughed.

I loved my friend group, more than anything really. Me and Pansy being able to discuss any girly things such as boys, makeup outfits and the rest. Being able to joke around with the boys, while also being able to talk about the deepest shit.

My phone buzzed, I ignored it. It buzzed again, I ignored it again. The third time it buzzed I put it on silent. What could anybody possibly want? Either way I couldn't care less. I was trying to have fun with my friends.

Our food finally arrived, I cut the toast into soldiers and used them to dip it into my egg. Pansy got raspberry waffles, Lorenzo got pancakes and syrup, Blaise for a smoothie bowl, Mattheo and Draco both got an English breakfast and then Theodore got the same as me except he got scrambled eggs.

We were eating our lunch and talking, having fun. After about half an hour we all finished and payed separately. Draco handed the bill back to the waiter, "no tip?" He joked.
"Not like you deserve one" I said as Theodore kicked me under the table. "Ow!"
"So your a feisty one ay?" The waiter chuckled. I got grossed out, but I also bursted out laughing. "Please, never ever say that again. I'm getting second hand embarrassment from you" I said, wiping the tears of laughter away. Pansy let out a giggle to as she tried to cover her mouth with her hand.

We all left sometime later and as soon as we stepped out that restaurant we all laughed. "Ooo your a fiesty one yn" Mattheo joked as we all laughed.

I then decided to check my phone as we were walking back, it was around noon so we decided to get our stuff for the party tonight.

I went into our messages and there he was.
