Students of the Tenbi Academy were brought together in the gymmasium. Technically it was supposed to be PE, reason for which they wore sportwear.
Each of them were given a black sphere to hold. As curiosity arose among the croud Minori, who was at the very center of the room, spoke loudly so everyone can hear them clearly.
Minori:The black haze inside. Try focusing your concentration on a single spot.
Students have done as she said, the black mist like substance twisting itsself towards the spot each student focused on in their respective sphere. However, it turned back to it's chaotic formless state once the owner's concentration was broken.
On the very back of the room Kumagawa spun his sphere on top of his ring finger, the substance inside twisting itself in the very center. This wasn't anything new to him.
Rather, keeping his concentration was something he was very used to. After all, his control over All Fiction wasn't nearly as good as he has now back when he first aquired it, so he alwais had to be very careful to not destroy the world or something.
As for why the center exactly, it was kind of like a target. For example, when he was aiming as someone's head he alwais would throw one if his screws right in the middle.
Although no one seems to have yet realized his profiency at this task. Most were focused on their own spear and he did sit at the very back of the room.
This was of his own choice. Sometimes he liked to just sit back and watch things unfold, just like Najimi.
Takeru:But this ball...I swear I saw it somewhere before.
Uchi:The president have it to us as a reward for the investigation, remember?
Takeru:Yeah...
Kengo:So, what happened to that senpai that you fought?
Takeru:About that...It seems she doesn't actually remember anything. She even got on her knees and apologized. Well, sge was still suspended.
Kengo:She really doesn't remember what happened?
Uchi:It's true. Aki-sensei and the others made sure she wasn't lying. Perhaps it's the same as...
Minori:Hey...
Uchi, Takeru and Kengo were simultanously hit with a role of paper. From behind them Minori glared down at them.
Minori:What do you you're doing, speaking in my class!?
Minori took a breath and calmed herself down. After that, he took a look around.
Minori:Not bad Takeru, I didn't expect this from you.
Takeru:Y...Yeah...
Minori:But if it's someone that excels at it, it's that guy.
She pointed it to the very back of the room. Kumagawa was playing with his sphere in different ways, yet his concentration remained unwavering.
Kengo:Woah! How does he do that?
Takeru:Kumagawa had alwais been really attentive, even when he looks like he isn't.
Minori:Yeah, I cam tell he also observed how everyone else was progressing. Well, I guess he's being a good senpai in that regard, so I'm not gonna give him a hard time about it. But the point of this exercise is another! Kurigasa!
Kai:Yes!
Kai was called out to to the center of the room, with Minori standing opposite to him. He was quite perplexed by her request.
