Dylan walks down the stairs into the tomb to see Stefan and she smiles and says, "Hello, brother. Just came to see how you are and that Elena's trapped in her house done by a spell thanks to Bonnie." Stefan says, "You trapped her in the house?" Dylan says, "It's the only way to keep her from coming here, trust me it's for the best. Elena's on a martyr tear that rivals your greatest hits. You should be glad the witch and I are even getting along. I brought you this. Care package. Candles... lanterns... and... lunch." Dylan drops the bag down on the ground into the tomb as she holds up a bottle of blood. Stefan says, "Give that to me and I'm just gonna have to share it with her." Dylan sees Katherine behind Stefan and she rolls her eyes. Katherine says, "You know, you two are surprisingly calm considering Klaus will hunt you down and kill you if you mess with his little plan." Dylan says, "I've been dead before. I got over it. Once we deal with this moonstone we'll figure a way to get you out." Stefan says, "Ah, don't worry about me. Just make sure Elena's safe." Dylan nods and says, "Yeah, of course." Dylan walks away. Later, Dylan walks into the Gilbert Residence and she walks into the living room where Elena is. Dylan says, "You should really lock your door." Elena crosses her arms ignoring Dylan. Dylan says, "Oh, come on, pouty. At least give me two points for ingenuity." Elena glares at Dylan and says, "Do you think this is funny?" Dylan says, "Yes, Elena. I find hilarity in the lengths that I have to go to to repeatedly save your life." Elena says, "What did Stefan say about this?" Dylan says, "He had a good laugh." Elena says, "And what did he say about Elijah still being alive?" Dylan sits down on the couch as she says, "Yeah, about that... I didn't tell him." Elena says, "Why not?" Dylan says, "Well, for one he can't do anything about it." Dylan hears footsteps and looks over at Jeremy and says, "Where's Bonnie?" Jeremy says, "I thought she was meeting you." Dylan says, "No. She's on moonstone duty and I'm on... Elena patrol." Jeremy says, "And who's on Tyler Lockwood and the full moon?" Dylan says, "Caroline's on it." Elena says, "Hold on a second. Tonight's the full moon?" Dylan's phone rings as she says, "Yep, but you're too absorbed with all your suicidal tendencies to notice." Dylan answers the phone and says, "What?" Alaric says, "Sheriff Forbes has officially declared Mason Lockwood a missing person." Dylan says, "What? Why?" Alaric says, "Some girl from Florida showed up on the Lockwood's doorstep looking for Mason." Dylan says, "What girl?" Alaric says, "I don't know. But she got everyone in a tizzy." Dylan says, "That's not good. Where are you?" Alaric says, "I'm at the Grill." Dylan says, "I'm on my way." Dylan hangs up and as she gets up from the couch, she looks over at Jeremy and says, "Change of plans. You babysit." Dylan looks over at Elena and says, "Hey, you know, you should get out, enjoy the sun. Oh, wait. You can't." Elena grabs a pillow and throws it at Dylan as Dylan ducks out of the way with a laugh. Dylan leaves the house. Later, Dylan walks into the Grill and over to Alaric. Dylan follows Alaric's gaze over to a blonde woman and she says, "So, that's Mason's mystery woman?" Alaric says, "Yeah. Where is Mason, anyway?" Dylan says, "Decomposing in his truck." Alaric says, "So you think she's a werewolf?" Dylan says, "Well, I hope not, being that it's a full moon and all, Ric. We should definitely find out." Dylan unzips her jacket pocket and gets out a small bag of wolfsbane. Alaric says, "And what is that?" Dylan says, "Wolfsbane." Later, Dylan sits alone at a table as she watches Alaric slide up next to the blonde woman pretending to be drunk as he says, "Well, hello. Can I have a scotch and whatever this beautiful woman is drinking?" The blonde woman says, "Oh, no, one's my limit." Alaric says, "Oh, come on, it's not like I'm a freak. I'm just being friendly to somebody who's new to town" The woman smiles and says, "Okay, if you insist. How do you know I'm new?" Alaric says, "Because I've never seen you here before. And I am here every night." Dylan slides up on the other side of the woman and says, "Excuse me, is this guy bothering you?" Alaric says, "I'm not bothering anybody." Dylan says, "Perfect. Well... do it elsewhere." Dylan looks at the woman and says, "Don't worry, he's harmless. You know, he's sort of the... the town drunk and... You know, when we get tired we just put him in a cab and send him back to wherever he came from." While Dylan was keeping the woman busy, Alaric put wolfsbane into her drink as he says, "Please don't talk about me like I'm not here." Dylan says, "Why are you here?" Alaric holds up his drink as he cheers. The woman holds up hers as she says, "Thank you for the drink." Alaric walks away as the woman doesn't drink her drink, making Dylan roll her eyes. Moments later, Dylan tries to keep a conversation going to the woman who she found out her name is Jules and she says, "There's a B&B down the road and there's a motel off of I-9, but you know, if you ask me I think it's kind of a mistake." Jules says, "No frills is fine. I'm just here for the night. It's a long story. Looking for my friend." Dylan says, "Oh. Who?" Jules says, "Mason Lockwood?" Dylan says, "Really? I know Mason." Jules says, "You do?" Dylan says, "Yeah. He's a great guy." Jules says, "He's missing." Dylan pretends to be confused as she says, "What do you mean? Like, missing missing?" Jules says, "How do you know Mason? Did you two date?" Dylan chuckles and says, "No. I met him through Jenna Sommers. She and Mason were friends back in high school." Jules nods as she continues to stir her drink making Dylan annoyed that she's not drinking. Dylan looks over at Alaric and she shakes her head. Dylan looks back at Jules and says, "You know, listen, I'm really tight with the sheriff. If there's anything I can do to help locate Mason, I will. He's a great guy. And after his brother's funeral he stuck around and... and helped his nephew and..." Jules says, "Tyler?" Dylan says, "Yep. Mason was with him the whole time. Helped him... through all that grief. You know, you haven't touched your drink." Jules says, "You know, I'm not much a drinker. I should get going." Dylan says, "Oh, come on. Look, one drink." Jules says, "It'll help me sleep." Dylan cheers her glass with Jules as she says, "To sleep." As Jules goes to sip, she slams her glass down as she says, "You fool. You think you're clever, don't you?" Dylan says, "You caught me. What do you want with Mason Lockwood?" Jules says, "He's my friend." Dylan says, "Well, I'm sorry to inform you that you probably won't find him." Jules says, "And why not?" Dylan says, "You should leave town." Jules scoffs as she says, "Are you threatening me? On a full moon. How stupid are you?" Alaric walks over as he says, "Dylan, how about that second round?" Dylan looks over at Alaric and says, "I think we're done, Ric." Dylan looks at Jules as she says, "You think I'm afraid of you?" Jules says, "No, I don't. That's your vampire arrogance. You should be. I sniffed you out the moment you entered this bar along with your pathetic wolfsbane. See, I've been at this a long time. And any other night of the month the situation would be reversed but tonight is not the night to pick a fight with me. You've been marked." Jules walks away as Dylan figures out what the fuck that means. Dylan tries to chase after Jules with Alaric behind her. Dylan steps outside of the Grill as she says, "Where the fuck did she go?" Alaric says, "Just let it go, Dylan. Don't be stupid." Dylan says, "I'm sorry? I have you met me. I'm just supposed to let her get away? "You're been marked." What the fuck kind of wolf throw-down crap is that, anyway?" Alaric says, "Dylan, look up. Just look up." Dylan looks up in the sky to see it's a full moon as Alaric says, "If this werewolf stuff is true, one bite and you're dead. One bite. Alright? Don't risk it. Just... go home, lock your doors. And we'll deal with it in the morning." Dylan sighs as she says, "Fine." Later, Dylan walks into her house as she locks the door. As Dylan walks into her living room, she senses someone in the house. Dylan walks into the library and finds Rose. Dylan says, "Just can't stay away, can you?" Rose says, "Well, you don't answer your phone." Dylan crosses her arms and says, "What do you want?" Rose says, "I wanted to apologize." Dylan says, "Just admit it. You don't have anywhere else to go." Rose says, "I'm sorry about Elena. I wasn't thinking straight. I didn't know that she had a death wish. But I called you. I tried to make it right, okay? I'm sorry, Dylan. And I-I have nowhere else to go." Dylan says, "There's nothing here for you, Rose." Dylan walks past Rose over to get herself a drink. Rose says, "Well, then..." They both hear glass shattering. The two share a glance as they both run towards the living room and see a broken window. They hear growling as Dylan grabs a sword off of the wall ready when Rose sees a wolf and pushes Dylan out of the way as the wolf tackles Rose to ground and attacks her. Rose screams as the wolf bites into her shoulder. Dylan slices at the wolf and the wolf runs away and out through the window. Dylan crouches down where Rose is worriedly says, "How bad is it?" Rose grunts, "It hurts." Dylan stares at the wound confused because it's healing. Dylan says, "It's healing." Rose says, "Oh, my God. I thought a werewolf bite was fatal. I thought..." Rose sobs as Dylan brings her in for a hug as she rubs her back. Dylan softly says, "You're gonna be okay." Later, Dylan's sitting on the couch in the living drinking bourbon when Rose walks over with her robe on as Dylan says, "I talked to Caroline. She said Tyler was all locked up." Rose sits down next to Dylan as she says, "So it was Jules. The other werewolf, the one who attacked you." Dylan says, "Yeah. I'm sorry. I picked a fight with her. She was coming after me." Dylan pours Rose a drink as Rose says, "All's well that ends well." Dylan says, "You all healed?" Rose says, "Yeah. Seems that way." Dylan says, "Rose, uh... I'm happy that the... legend was fake. Maybe the werewolves made it up to keep vampires away." Rose smiles and says, "Lucky me. I'm gonna stay and help you." Dylan says, "Help me do what?" Rose says, "Save Elena. Protect Elena, all things Elena." Dylan says, "Really? Why?" Rose says, "Because I like you. I believe in friendship. I happen to have a vacancy in that department. And you can use all the friends you can get." Dylan smiles and says, "Well, since we're friends. You can call me D. It's a nickname that only my friends get to call me." Rose smiles and says, "Alrighty, then." Rose then feels pain on her shoulder as she grunts. Dylan worriedly says, "What's wrong?" Rose says, "My shoulder." Rose slides down her robe and they both see that the werewolf bite got worse. Dylan says, "I guess the legend is true about the werewolf bite."
