A/N Hi All! This one-shot was requested by @SandNinjaGS
Thank you for the idea! I know it took wayyy longer than I said it would, but I had a lot of fun writing this! There is a part two that's coming in another week or so. Anyway, Happy reading!

Lloyds POV

I hated the jungle. The large tree branches intertwined overhead, blocking my view of the sky and acting as a trap for all beneath them. Along the path I walked, thick shrubs and plants grew, with giant thorns adorning their branches. They clawed at my face and clothes, clinging to me. The thick mud underfoot sucked on my feet, slowing my travel immensely. It was as if the jungle itself was trying to stop me, trap me.

Yet I was here, though not by choice.

In front of me, beautiful white hair trailing down her back walked the reason I was here. Harumi, the Quiet One. I don't know what in Ninjago possessed me to grab her. It was an impulse, an unplanned reaction.

Maybe it had been the brief moment of vulnerability I had seen in her eyes. Fear, concern, and hope twisted in her expression when she pleaded with me to join her. I had refused her offer, and then of all actions, snatched her.

And now we were stuck together. Of course, I could let her leave at any moment, but then she would run and hunt me down. I was too close to freedom for that to happen.

So on we walked, me slashing at tangles of vines that blocked our path, and then keeping Harumi in front. At first, everything was working fine, but the more we walked, the more old memories of our time together assailed me, mocking me.

Soft flirtatious smiles, long conversations, hidden glances. A first love.

The white-haired girl seemed to sense my thoughts. I could tell by the cynical twist of her lips and her raised eyebrow when she glanced back.

One particular look of hers irritated me. Growing annoyed, I slashed another plant blocking our path and then shoved Harumi forward. She stumbled but quickly regained her composure, casting a glance back at me.

"That looks like hard work. Why don't you let me take a turn?" She held out her hand, looking pointedly at the katana I had 'borrowed' from her.

The plain absurdity of her statement left me slightly amused. I laughed and crossed my arms, releasing some of my irritation. "Fat chance!" There was no way she was serious. Harumi would know I wasn't stupid enough to fall for her tricks.

The girl smiled as she met my stare. "Suit yourself." She murmured, turning and walking between the vines I had slashed. I followed her, my suspicions growing as she continued to talk, breaking the silence I had grown accustomed to.

"You know, this reminds me of the last time we were here." She said, casting a flirtatious glance over her shoulder. "You remember? You and me, fighting our way through the jungle together." Her voice was soft, coy.

I growled and pushed towards her. "Stop it," I warned, glaring at her back.

Harumi glanced back at me again, her now purple eyes holding an innocent look. "Stop what?"

So that was the game she wanted to play. I slashed another plant, pushing further through the jungle. "You know what." I retorted. "Stop trying to get in my head." That was a mistake. Never admit your weakness to your enemy. Especially not to Harumi.

The white-haired girl in purple battle armor stopped walking and turned towards me. "Hmmm, am I in your head? Are you thinking about me?" She asked, hand on her hip as she tilted her head. Her long eyelashes fluttered, adding to the effect.  She was enjoying this.
