Demon Slayer rewrite

Season 3 Episode 5. Kirokomi Kazuyuki

"When I was a human, my name was Kirokomi Kazuyuki," Kiroyuki said. "I became Kiroyuki after becoming a demon. I was indeed the most powerful Ice Breathing user 1000 years ago. No human alive knows I was turned into a demon, or that I'm still alive to this day. You are the first one to know."

"So, how and why were you turned into a demon?" Kimi asked.

"I once fought Muzan, long ago," Kiroyuki said. "He knew he couldn't kill me, so he wanted to turn me into a demon. I agreed, but not because I wanted to become a demon. It was in the hope that I could learn his weaknesses and one day work with the rest of the demon slayer corps to defeat him."

"I can sense that he isn't lying, and he doesn't feel the slightest bit of animosity toward me," Kimi thought. "But what's even stranger... is that he's never eaten a human before."

"You haven't eaten any humans," Kimi said. "Have you?"

"No, I have not," Kiroyuki replied.

"Are you serious?" Kimiko asked.

"I'm not lying," Kiroyuki replied. "I never lie."

"Yeah, I know, it was a rhetorical question," Kimiko thought.

"As unusual as this all seems, I can tell he somehow isn't lying about any of it," Kimi thought.

"You know, I'm not the only demon capable of using breathing techniques," Kiroyuki said. "There is another."

"Is that so..." Kimi trailed off.

"Kokushibo, upper rank 1, can use breathing," Kiroyuki said. "He uses Moon Breathing, a style he created himself."

"Are there any others?" Kimi asked.

"No, just the two of us," Kiroyuki replied.

The look on Kiroyuki's face suddenly changed. He narrowed his eyes.

"Speaking of Kokushibo, something strange has happened," Kiroyuki said. "I can sense it. You should hurry to fight him. Aside from me, he is the only remaining upper rank demon."

"We'll do that," Kimi said.

Kimi and Kimiko set off to find Kokushibo and help defeat him.
