Day 23 - Cat Claws part 1

This one shot is a mini one where the crew meet Cursed Cat Alastor. I love how that one image has blown up so quickly and it is the funniest thing within this fandom so far.

Charlie walked down the hallway, stretching her arms in the air and yawning. It had been a long night of planning today's events and being too excited for them that she couldn't sleep. Now that I was actually morning, she had to get started with her day, but she was a bit sluggish from exhaustion. As she made her way down the hallway, she paused and looked into The main common room.

"Vaggie... since when did we get a second cat?"

Her girlfriend soon was by her side and looked at her with confusion. "We never got a second cat? Why do you ask?"

"Because there is a cat that isn't KeeKee in the common room." Charlie pointed over to a red cat sleeping on one of the chairs. It had a short tail, in all red body, and the tips of its tail, ears, and paws were all black.

Vaggie blinked. "Hun... I have no idea where this cat came from."

The two girls walk over to the cat and observe him. He was simply sleeping peacefully, his chest moving up and down in a small rhythm. Charlie smiled. "He's kind of cute. I wonder if he and KeeKee will get along."

"I have no idea. It's a little suspicious that a random cat somehow got into the hotel. We might have a hole in the wall somewhere. Again. I'll have to find it so we can have Alastor fix the wall."

At the mention of the radio demon, the cat perked up and looked at the two girls. The cat gave a wide smile that sent shivers down the couple.

"Okay, he kind of reminds me of Alastor a bit...." Charlie said slowly.

"Yeah, that smile is very similar to his. Never thought I would see that on a cat." Vaggie said.

"Heya, girls, what are y'all doing?" Angel dust walked in.

"We are wondering where this cat came from." Charlie said.

Angel looked at the cat and blinked. "But that's Smiles."

"What?"

"Yeah, this happened the other day... he may or may not be under a spell... some angelic magic if you will, from your dad." Angel said.

Charlie's mouth gaped open. "What do you mean my dad did this? Why would my dad do this to Al... I know they don't have the best relationship, but I really doubt my father would go as far and turn him into a cat... would he?"

"Charlie, I was there. They got into a disagreement, I think it was something stupid about how he is always around you, and that he should back off, and that he won't do that, and that Smiles is simply just a tool for you, or a pet. Then he decided to prove that to him and your dad proceeded to turn him into a cat. So now we have cursed cat Alastor." Angel explained vaguely and rather unclearly.

Charlie looked at Angel and then back at the cat. He really did have a lot of similar features to the radio demon. But for her father to go as far as this, part of her didn't want to believe it, but the other part of her knew it might be true.

"Did he say how long this The last? Or are we permanently stuck with cat Alastor?"

"I have no idea. As far as I know, it might wear off. But it is angelic magic, so there is a possibility that he is just stuck like this unless you convince your father to turn him back." Angel said.

"I'm sure he would turn him back if I ask, but let's just see if it wears off. My father isn't that kind of person where he would curse someone and not allow them to change back." Charlie said, with uncertainty.

"That's completely up to you. I think it's really funny that he is currently a cat. He can't access any of his powers. However, I would watch the claws, they sting if he gets you." Angel warned, rubbing his arm.

"I'll go talk to my father. For now, just leave him alone, but at the same time, watch to make sure he doesn't get into any trouble? If you guys don't mind." Charlie requested.

"Of course, Hun. Just be back soon. We'll keep an eye on our resident kitty cat." She smirked. Something told Charlie that her girlfriend was having a little more enjoyment out of this than she should have.

"Okay, I will go visit my father and either come back with him, or figure out the full story. I'll be back soon." She waved to the crew before exiting the doors.

"Well, looks like we have an easy day. All we have to do is watch..... where did he go?" Angel looked around. The cat was nowhere to be seen.

"Charlie wasn't gone more than a minute and he's already missing?" Vaggie asked.

"Looks that way. Let's hurry up and find them before she gets back."

A/N: I had a really long day, and it is getting really close to the time, so I'm going to split this up into two parts. I will see you guys tomorrow with part two. Also, happy Pi day. Lol
