*Ryan's POV*

I am currently listening to music upstairs in my room. Mom is downstairs making dinner because dad is bringing home his latest client tonight. Someone knocked on my door but I was too lazy to get up. They knocked again and again. I continued to lay there and my mom burst through the door. I paused the music and removed the headphones from my ears.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"You should get ready. Your father's gonna be home with his clients and you need to make a good impression." She smiled.

"Ugh! But whyyy?" I whined.

"Just get dressed sweetie." She exited the room.

I hopped in the shower and washed my newly dyed red hair. After my shower, I put on black ripped skinny jeans, red converse, and a SpitFire T-shirt. I blow dried my hair and brushed it out before putting on a black beanie. Before leaving my room, I grabbed my iPhone off of the nightstand and shoved it in my back pocket. I walked downstairs at a slow pace. I stopped at the door of the dining room when I heard my name.

"Yea, you'll absolutely love Ryan." My father chuckled.

"We can't wait to meet him, we're all so excited." Someone with a British accent replied.

Before anyone else could say anything, I walked in adjusting my beanie.

"I'm a guy? That's news to me. I didn't know I had a dic-"

"RYAN!" My mother cut me off. "Watch your language." she scolded.

"Come on mother, I'm 18. Also, it's extremely annoying when people think I'm a guy." I smiled at her.

"Not in front of my clients you two." Simon warned.

"Sorry." Mother mumbled.

"Sup dad." I turned to look at who was at the table and saw five boys around my age.

"Hey sweetheart. This is Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall, and Zayn. Boys, this is my step-daughter Ryan." Dad said, gesturing to the boys at the table.

"Hello Ryan." They said in unison.

"That was waayyyy creepy." I laughed.

"So Simon, you never mentioned Ryan is a female." Liam said.

"Who is extremely hot." Harry winked at me.

Liam smacked him on the back of he head.

"I didn't think it would be a problem." Simon replied.

"Oh no, there's no problem." Liam smiled at me.

"Well aren't you the charmer Liam." I laughed.

I took a seat by my mom and ate my dinner.

-------------------

After dinner, we all sat in the family room. The boys sat on a three seater couch and my parents sat on the love seat while I sat on the single chair. They all were having conversation while I was texting my best friend Tristen. He asked if I could meet up with him and the gang. I looked at the time and read 9:47. I replied to him that I'll be there in 20. I hopped off the couch, pulled on a Black Ops 2 hoodie, and grabbed my skateboard by the staircase.

"Where do you think you're going?" Dad asked from the family room.

"Meeting up with Tristen and the gang." I yelled to him. They knew my friends and really liked them, even though we normally get into trouble.

"Don't get arrested!" He laughed.

"No promises!"

And with that, I ran out the door. I rode all the way to Tristen's, which was almost 8 blocks away. When I got there, the whole gang was waiting outside on Tristen's porch. I hugged the crew and sat on my skateboard.

{I should probably introduce the gang. There's: Tristen (the Leader) he has black hair, blue eyes, snakebite piercings, and is 5'10", Jake (the Tagger) he has blue hair, brown eyes, and is 5'9", Luke (the Risk Taker) he has dirty blonde hair, greenish blue eyes, and is 5'10", Aaron (the Brains) he has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and is 5'11", and then me (the Fighter) I have red hair, greenish yellow eyes, and I'm 5'8 1/2"

"So what are we doing tonight?" Aaron asked.

"I was thinking we should go to the movie theater." Tristen replied smirking.

"Let's do it! I got my paints." Jake cheered.
