"Are you okay?" Katara asked once she managed to find Aang sitting on one of the roofs.

"A hundred years.." Aang replied. "All my friends, everyone I know, are gone."

"Believe me. I know how hard it can be to lose the people that you love."

Seraphina had managed to find Aang as she listened to Katara talking with him.

"To be honest, I never really understood the war when I was younger. That's until the fire benders came. They destroyed everything in their path. They were ruthless. The fire nation has conquered most of the world but the water benders are still fighting back. Especially the North. And the Earth Kingdom is still holding strong.

Seraphina knew she had to pick a side. She was no longer thirteen and being alone for those years taught her a few things. Her heart was as pure as ever but her thoughts clashed with one another. She would do anything for Zuko if he needed but she didn't want that kind of relationship with anyone anymore. She wanted to make her own choices. She just didn't know how.

"I'm the only water bender left in the village." Katara spoke to Aang.

Being followed into Katara's getaway cave by Seraphina who hid quietly from them.

"The monks used to tell me that bending is about finding energy and balance. Finding balance, feel the energy." He spoke as he showed her a move.

The ginger teen watched them as she stepped out of hiding when Katara made a small ball of water and was able to hold it in place.

"Nice!" Aang grinned when he noticed.

"I-i wasn't even trying."

"That's good."

"For a starter it is really good." Seraphina spoke as she made them both jump.

"Seraphina! When did you get here." Katara asked in shock. Dropping the water back.

"I've been here the whole time. I came to check on both of you."

"You're good at water bending too, right?"

"In a sense. Why?" Seraphina asked.

"Maybe you can teach us a bit more?"

"Oh, um, I don't know if I'm the right person for that."

"Why would that be?" Aang asked. "I thought there weren't any water benders left in this village."

"I'm not from here." Seraphina spoke as she glanced at the water. Raising her hand as she raised the water with it. Getting a small amount of it as she let it swirl around them before placing it back. "But I- nevermind." She mumbled.

"You're very mysterious." Katara spoke as she noticed.

Seraphina smiled a bit. "It's complicated. I have never told anyone this before after all. I'll tell you guys later."

"Promise?" Katara asked.

"Promise." Seraphina nodded.

The three of them returned to the village only to something no one had expected to happen. Running towards Sokka.

"Sokka! The fire nation!"

"I know. We spotted them."

"After all this time what could they possibly want?"

"Aang." Seraphina replied as she put her hood back on. "He's here for Aang."
