WOLF COVE ━ THREE YEARS LATER

Seraphina Aila Kane. Once a thirteen year old girl who was on a crew with a friend. Her royal Prince and the one who she swore her undying loyalty to. Now a sixteen year old teen who had spent the last three years on her own.

The first year wasn't as planned as she had been with a group of bandits who she was still unaware of who had hired them. Having a clue of who it could've been but didn't want to start issues with them.

The past two years she had spent learning and training her bending. Having stolen a few books she thought would help her. Mainly learning from scratch and having returned the books once she was done.

She never stayed in one spot for too long and always carried her stuff in a bag she had taken. Keeping herself hidden as she couldn't bring herself to trust someone like before.

At the moment she had a small cut on her lip and a bruise on her cheek after encountering a guy from the group who had kidnapped her. Winning against him compared to the past before fleeing the scene. She knew causing trouble would only earn attention and a spotlight. She wanted to avoid that from happening.

Walking quietly at the moment as she took a break. Glancing around before letting her guard down. She was dressed in a white shirt with a dark navy blue skirt, embroidered with a flowery design. A cape kept her warm as it was a blue color. Similar to that of her skirt. Letting out a small sigh.

Removing the hood of her cape for a second as she continued her walk at the moment. Rubbing the back of her neck as she was tired from her travel. Taking a small break as she took a seat before getting up immediately when she heard the sound of talking.

Her hands immediately put her hood back on as she stayed quiet. Listening to any sounds that could mean she was in danger. Hiding behind a piece of ice she could find and glancing at who it was.

Her eyes caught sight of a guy and a girl on a boat as they were talking to one another.

"Where were you earlier?" The guy asked.

The girl didn't reply as she glanced away a bit. Already knowing what his answer would be.

"You were waterbending again, weren't you?" He asked.

"Don't worry. No one even saw me. It's not like it matters anyways."

"If the Fire Nation finds out-."

"No one from the Fire Nation has approached the village in years. Besides, there's nothing to see. An otter penguin can probably bend more water than I could." She mumbled.

Seraphina listened to their conversation quietly as she was more focused about the Fire Nation that they had mentioned.

"Well, it could be for the best. You should help out the village more often than just running off to keep trying."

"Why can't you see that not everything is about preparing to fight?"

"We are at war."

"Well, waterbending built our culture." The girl argued back. "We need to keep it alive."

"We need to keep ourselves alive."

"Don't you think I know that?"

The guy scoffed a bit before turning back ahead as he glanced into the water. Seeing a few fishes in sight. "Katara." Getting no response as he turned to her. "Hello? Earth to Katara. Sulk later, more paddling."

Katara noticed and immediately grabbed the paddle. It was going well until the current seemed to pick up.

"Woah. Good job."
