Katara was shocked with Sokka and Aang that she knew how to fire bend as well. Including the fact that she apparently knew Zuko.

Zuko ignored them for a moment as he reached her. His hand reaching for her as he hesitated. "Did they lay a hand on you?" He asked her quietly.

"It wasn't them." Seraphina spoke as she immediately hugged him.

Small gasps leaving almost everyone around them that she was so casual with the Prince of the fire nation.

"What happened?" Zuko asked.

"I'll explain everything later." She softly mumbled. Pulling away slightly and having her hand on his cheek a bit. "I'm sorry.."

"Don't apologize." Zuko mumbled before turning to one of his men. "Take her back inside and do not let them lay a hand on her. You'll lose yours if anything happens."

"Right away." The guy spoke before doing as told and took her away towards the ship.

She couldn't hear much of what else happened after she was taken back. Glancing around the ship as it hadn't changed much. "I'd like to wait for him in his room."

"Not possible. He doesn't let anyone in there." The guy replied. "You were probably hiding the Avatar from him. You're nothing but a traitor." Grabbing her arm a bit.

Seraphina winced a bit as she stared right back at him. "I wouldn't do such a thing to Zuko." She scoffed.

The guy tightened his grip on her as he listened to her wince. Raising his hand up with a flame ready.

"I thought I made myself clear." A voice spoke behind them.

Seraphina and the guy turned to see Zuko standing there with his arms crossed. "Zuko.." She lightly spoke.

Zuko's gaze landed on her as he walked over. "Let go of her arm before I break yours."

The guy let go of her before taking a step back from the two of them.

"What is going on here?" Zuko asked.

"I wanted to wait for you in your room so he said you don't let anyone in there. I respect that Prince Zuko. He then started to accuse me of hiding the Avatar from y-."

Zuko immediately tried to throw fire at the guy. He would've succeeded if Seraphina hadn't stopped him.

"Don't." Seraphina lightly held his wrist as she glanced at him. "Please don't."

His gaze landed on her once more as he tried to harden his emotions and ignore what he felt for her but failed miserably when he softened a bit. "Get out of my sight." He spoke to the guy before grabbing her hand and leading her to his room.

Opening the door as he let her in first before shutting the door behind him. "Take a seat."

Seraphina listened to him before removing her cape and taking a seat on his bed. Feeling him take her cape and hang it aside.

"What happened that day? Why did you leave me?"

"Zuko. I didn't- I wouldn't leave you. There was this group of earth bending bandits. It was out of nowhere and I wasn't good at bending that much. I wanted to call out to you but.. they covered my mouth and took me away. I couldn't tell where I was. I was held captive for a year and each day I hoped you would show up but you never did."

His hand immediately held hers as she glanced at him. His gaze on her before placing a hand on her cheek and pulling her closer. "I searched for you day and night when I found your ribbon on the floor. Believe me Sera, I would've dropped everything to find you but-."

Seraphina gave a small nod. "I understand." She stopped him from saying more. "But I also need you to understand that I can't stay with you."

"What? Why?" Zuko immediately asked. "Is it because of that guy from earlier? You're really his girlfriend, aren't you-?" Being jealous and a bit infuriated.

Seraphina placed her hand on his cheek as she leaned forward before giving him a small kiss.

Taken by surprise, Zuko's eyes widened before he pulled away first without kissing back. "W-what was that for?" He asked. Hiding the blush on his cheeks. "You did that before too.." He mumbled.

"Sokka isn't my boyfriend. I just met him. Sure, he can be nice but I like you more, Zuko." Seraphina confessed to him as she held his hands. "I have for a while."

Zuko was silent as he didn't say much after hearing her confession. "You.. is that why you kissed me that other time?"

"Y-yes." Seraphina gave a small nod. "I understand if you don't feel the same way. Nothing has to happen and we can um.. forget whatever happened."

"No. No I.. um.. I just need some time to think."

Seraphina noticed his blush and how he usually was about not being honest. "I'll go wave goodbye to that guy from earlier and help around as much as I can." She informed him as she headed for the door.

Zuko immediately pressed a hand to the door as he stood behind her. "There's no need for that. He doesn't need to have a goodbye from you. Why do you even plan on leaving again?"

"I don't know. I want to try something new." She lightly turned to face him as she admired him before moving away a bit from how close she was to him. "I.. um.."

"I like you Sera." Zuko mumbled.

"I'm sorry. What was that?" She asked.

"You heard me."

"I did not. Say it again and be a bit louder."

Zuko immediately became embarrassed at the idea of having to repeat it again. "I said that I like you Sera." He turned away from her.

Sera gave an amused grin as she listened to him. "Do you mean it?" She asked amused.

"You know I do mean it." Zuko huffed before placing a hand on her head. "Stand still and close your eyes."

Seraphina listened as she did as told. Closing her eyes as she leaned against the door waiting for whatever he was planning.

His hand stayed on the door before leaning closer. Leaning to her level a bit as he didn't want her to see his blushing face.

A knock on the door startled them both as her eyes opened to see him that close to her. Her own cheeks turned red in color.

"What is it?" Zuko asked.

"The Avatar is in his cell like requested." The man on the other side of the door informed him.

Seraphina listened as she glanced at him. Lightly reached out as she held his sleeve so he wouldn't leave her alone just yet.

"Leave him there. I'll be there when I'm ready to talk to him. Now go away." He spoke up. Listening to the man walk away before turning to her. "I have to.."

"Go." Seraphina spoke as she let go of his sleeve. "You're one busy guy. I understand."

His hand stayed on the door before leaning down as he gave her a small peck.

Seraphina blushed a bit more when he made a move on her. The kiss was something she had never expected from him. Closing her eyes as she slowly kissed back.

Zuko kept it light and slow as it was their first real kiss with one another compared to the pecks they have previously shared with one another. His hand moved to her cheek as he soon pulled away from her.

Seraphina kept her eyes closed before letting her breath out as she proceeded to process what happened. "You just.. I.." She spoke.

"Was it bad?" He asked.

"No. Nothing like that." Seraphina reassured. Placing her hands on his cheeks softly. "I was thinking you would never make that move."

"I still need time before giving you an answer. Is that alright?"

"Yes. Of course." Seraphina replied.
