"This lady will be late to her own funeral, I swear.." I groaned as I checked the time on my phone again.Beyoncé asked me to meet her at the studio so we could talk at 11 am. It was fifteen minutes after eleven at this point and I was starting to believe she wasn't coming.
That was until I heard a familiar knock on my window. I looked up to see her standing outside my passenger side window smiling as I rolled it down. She tugged on the handle before asking me to unlock it.
"We're not going inside?" I asked.
"First of all, I'm sorry I'm late it was Julio's fault, and third of all, I didn't book a studio and second of all I'm hungry so let's get food. My treat!"
"Why did you count out of order?!" I couldn't help the laugh that escaped as I replayed her words in my head.
"I don't know. I can't think straight when I'm hungry.." She replied as she shut the door and put her seatbelt on.
"If you didn't book studio time then why did you ask me to come here."
"Well, the last time we saw each other we kinda locked lips and we haven't spoken since."
I felt my cheeks heat up at her admission, quickly turning my head to look out of my window instead of at her. I successfully hadn't thought about that for the past couple of days.
But now that she was here in my presence it was all I could think about.
"I just thought we should talk about it and lay out any weird feelings so we can continue to work together."
"Where should we eat?" I sighed. "I'm glad you asked I know the perfect place.." She rubbed her hands together before telling me where to go.
I drove to the restaurant she chose and we both excited my car before walking towards the entrance.
"Thank you, sir.." I teased as she held the door for me. "Girl I'll kick you in the back of your kneecaps.." She mumbled causing me to turn with a stern look.
"Ooo I'm so scared." She threw her hand up before holding open the second door.
As soon as we walked in all eyes were on her. I guess we both forgot she's actually famous. From the moment we were seated she was the center of attention but she seemed to be used to it by her reaction.
I was overwhelmed for her. However, she was very composed, and simply just smiled as if droves of people weren't constantly staring or asking for a picture.
