"Alright, Beyoncé will be taking three more questions and then unfortunately we will have to wrap things up.."Hearing Yvette say that was like music to my ears. I was so tired from my long day of promoting and interviews to keep the press as well as my fans engaged.
Not to mention I was in LA alone. Meaning no Michelle. She stayed behind in Houston to work on her own music and I was proud of her.
However, I wish I had someone to cuddle with when I got back to my house tonight. Instead I'll just get the abnormally cold sheets inside of my bed.
"Hi, Ms.Beyoncé!" The young girl said as she approached the microphone. She was very short, brown-skin, and wore her hair in a curly fro. She reminded me of Latavia in the 'No, No, No' video.
"Hi, sweetheart.." I smiled.
"Uh—my question for you is, how are you able to be who you are while constantly being watched twenty-four seven?"
"That's a great question...I guess being around people who love me for me, it's easy to just be myself despite the constant eyes on me. In terms of how I'm portrayed to the public, I'm very private about my life but I tend to still reveal things in my music if you listen. Because of those things I never stop being who I am I just choose who gets to see those certain sides of me.." I smiled hoping I answered her question.
It's hard coming up with answers on the spot and it was even harder determining if the person received an answer that they understood.
The next person stepped up to the microphone as the next question was asked.
"I know you just finished talking about being private but I think everyone in is wondering if Beyoncé has a special someone in her life?"
I chuckled into the microphone in front of me, causing everyone to laugh as well. I took a deep breath, collecting my thoughts before giving my best media trained answer.
"I think everyone has someone special in their life. Some more than others and I'm lucky to have quite a few.." I answered trying to keep my face as neutral as possible.
The last person stepped up to the microphone and asked the final question.
"What can fans expect on your next project as you enter this new era?" She asked.
"They can a new sound and fresh ideas. I think this is my most exciting project yet. I feel very passionate about it which is probably why it took me so long to complete.." I finished my statement before looking towards Yvette.
