Rare fluff confirmed 😱

KYE'S POV - 3RD PERSON
Kye was an early bird, for sure. He was also a night owl. So he doesn't get as much sleep, so what? Lay could disagree. Lay was the most heaviest sleeper Kye could ever meet.

Kye sat up in bed, looking at the clock. 4 AM.

He didn't get that much sleep, but he could live. He looked at Lay on the bed next to him, sleeping quietly, mustering up soft snores. Kye smiled softly; he rarely smiled in public. The most times he's smiled was because of Lay.

He got up, making sure not to wake up Lay, then went downstairs to the kitchen.

Kye was more of a cook than Lay was. Actually, Kye is more of a 'dream' partner than Lay was; Kye could cook, clean, he was over protective, etc. And what was Lay? Nothing, really, but he's a great company either way and always makes Kye'a heart flutter.

Kye always made breakfast for Lay. Being a magician, he didn't necessarily need as much sleep and food that mortals did. He decided to make Lay's favorite, chocolate-chip pancakes.

LAY'S POV - 1ST PERSON
I woke up to a familiar voice. "Wake up Layyy," the voice called out, making me snuggle in the blanket even more. I didn't even bother to look at who it is; I need more sleep.

"No," I mumbled, the warmth of the blanket getting taken away from me. I looked up at it to be hovered in the air by a purple mist. I looked at the violette above me. "Lay, it's 9 am," Kye dead panned.

"Ughh I don't wanna get up," I whined, Kye putting his hoodie over me. "Then I'll make you," he smirked playfully, picking me up in bridal-style. I became flustered very quickly, burying my head in his chest.

"Why are you like this," I muttered, Kye beginning to walk to the kitchen. He was a magician, so he had so much advantages, including strength. He rarely smiled in public and only smiled at me. I'm.. not the best partner in the world, well, productivity-wise.

"I made your favorite," he smiled softly, making me blush and smile. He should really smile more, his smile looks so pretty.

"Chocolate-chip pancakes?" I asked, he nodded; my eyes brightened and my smile grew wider. We sat by the table and started eating.

KYE'S POV - 1ST PERSON
Lay started talking about something, but I wasn't listening. I stared at him; he always looks so unbelievably beautiful all the time. His facial features had a soft glint to it, his unique, gray eyes darted around the room. I smiled.

He stopped talking, making me stop smiling. "S-sorry, am I getting annoying?" He asked sadly. "I'll stop," he mumbled, making me panic. "No, no, go on," I said, reassuring him. He smiled slightly and continued talking.

I love the sound of his voice, it was so soothing and comforting to me. He had a bright tone all the time and always looked at the bright side in every kind of situation.

He may not think it, but he's the best partner ever.

Fun fact of the chapter: magicians don't need sleep, food, or water as much as mortals do! This will be implied in further oneshots!

Sorry it was short, I don't have that much ideas for fluff and I'm not good at writing them 😓
