I walk down the stairs of my private jet and I'm immediately hit my the warm yet cool air of Miami.
"Welcome back little miss" The driver who was sent to pick me up greets me getting my luggage and putting it in the car.
I smile at him,"It's good to be back".
He smiles back and opens the door for me and I get in.
We immediately begin the journey back home.
I am finally back in Miami after spending 2 weeks in Milan for fashion week well for the extra week I had I was with Adeline but she sadly had to go back to Paris.
But I had fun with her, she said she'll be visiting soon.
I sigh and look out the window as my eyes go past the buildings and the beaches.
"We're here" the driver says as we drive into the gates of my humble abode.
He gets out to open my door and I thank him before getting my luggage.
The door swings open, and I step inside, suitcase in hand. The familiar scent of home immediately washes over me. It's been two weeks since I left for Milan Fashion Week, and the anticipation of seeing my parents again fills me with excitement.
"Adri is that you?" My mom yells from the kitchen I think
I smile "Yeah, it's me!"
Mom rushes out of the kitchen, followed closely by dad. Their faces light up with joy.
"Oh my baby,we've missed you so much!" She embraces me in a warm hug. She smells like cookies, chocolate chip cookies to be fair.
"Welcome back home princess,How was Milan?" Dad says embracing me in a hug as well once mom let go.
"It was amazing, but nothing beats being back here." I grin
I look around, taking in every familiar detail. The warmth of the living room, the smell of Mom's cooking, and the comfort of being surrounded by family.
"We're so proud of you baby" Mom says teary eyed "Thanks, Mom. I can't wait to tell you all about it." I say giving her a kiss
We move to the living room, settling in as I start sharing stories from my trip. The house feels complete again, filled with laughter and love and I also found out the my grandparents are coming tomorrow.

Setting down my phone to charge I leave my room going into the kitchen where I know my parents are.
"Oh Adri just in time try out my soup I was trying out a new recipe" Mom says immediately as I walk in.
I grab a spoon and taste it "it's good could use I little more salt" I say putting the spoon in the sink "see Ale atleast someone gives me honest opinions" my mom says side eyeing my dad.
