"The history exam was not bad, I think I did well" I said walking into my room with Nick.

"I'm sure you did well" he said closing the door "do you think you did well?" I asked.

"Mhm" he said sitting down and pulling me on top of him and now I'm straddling his waist as he lays on the bed.

"What do your tattoos mean?" I ask trailing my hand on his arm tattoos and I can see him perk up.

"Some of them I got them because why not and I got my little sister's name and my moms name-

"You have another sister?!" I almost yell and he nods slowly "why didn't you tell me" I groan "I thought you knew, she was born a year after we moved away from Miami" he said unbothered.

"What's her name? Can I see a picture?" I ask bouncing in excitement "stop moving" he groans.

"Oh right" I mumble when I realise where I'm sitting.

"Her names Daphne" he said and my Greek mythology knowledge comes "she was a Greek dyrad or tree spirit and she's the daughter of the river God, Peneus and was hunted by Apollo cause she refused to accept his advances and when he was he catches her, she turns into a laurel tree and- " I stopped myself and realised I need to see a picture.

"Picture please?" I smiled and he was just staring at me "Nick"

"Right picture" he said grabbing his phone and he showed me a picture.

She was brown curly hair and heterochromia, brown and green but she's still so cute "she's so pretty" I awed at her.

"She's so cute," I say, tapping the picture. "I bet she's going to be such a heartbreaker when she grows up. You think she's gonna take after you?"

Nick just smirks, his eyes locked on me, but I keep talking, feeling a little sappy. "Bet she's gonna have those deadpan expressions. You're like the coolest big brother I can see you being all protective and—"

I pause when I notice Nick's eyes doing that thing where he glances from my eyes to my lips and back up again. Before I can say another word, he leans in and kisses me, cutting me off mid-sentence.

It's slow and deliberate, like he's savoring the moment, and I can't help but melt into it. My hands slide up to his shoulders, pulling him closer. When we finally pull back, I'm slightly breathless, and Nick has that rare, soft look in his eyes that only seems to come when we're along

"You talk too much sometimes," he murmurs, his voice low and teasing.

I roll my eyes but can't help the smile tugging at my lips. "Maybe I do, but you're not complaining."

Nick just chuckles softly and pulls me in for another kiss, his hands settling comfortably on my waist, like this is exactly where we're both meant to be.
