Aether pushed, he shoved Verdis from above him running to get up. He darted for the exit but was slammed into the ground. "Gh!" Now something had to be broken. The sheer force of the hit certainly felt it cracked a rib or two. Blood came quickly from his mouth as he coughed. His cape was grabbed and he was swung around slammed into the wall. "Gah!" Winded he dropped to his feet and down to his knees coughing. "I can't breathe!" With staggered breaths he quickly regained himself blocking the swing of a full force power by the black muck.

Thankfully his sword didn't break, Aether took the opening to strike Verdis catching his arm, it was sliced off but the moss healed it right back on. It was a terrible place to fight, he had to get him away.

With little energy left he opened his mouth, "Xi-mgh!!" Verdis grabbed his face pushing him right down to the ground again. His head hit the stone disrupting his sight.

"My love, I am hurt." Verdis' grin was powering, "You call another man's name when I am giving you what you wished?" He lifted him from the ground just like that, "How could you think of another? Hm? I am here at last, I will give your body all the care it needs." He touched Aether's abdomen making him shiver. The fight was back in him and he swung his leg kicking Verdis in the head as hard as he could. "Ack!"

This dropped him to the ground again. Aether swung his other leg sweeping Veris off his feet. He hit the ground too and Aether immediately got over him raising his sword to pierce his heart. He would end it, but Verdis was cunning grabbing Aether's waist and flipping their position. "Ugh!" On the ground again he was caught.

This position he couldn't escape from. With his mouth freed he tried to shout, "Xi-" but Verdis covered his mouth once again and this time slapped black sludge over it. "Mm!" He tried to scream but couldn't.

"Ah, you are such a handful, my love." He gazed with yearning making Aether shudder as Verdis was placing small flowers in his braid. "Oh how I shall savor devouring your innocence-" He slid his hand along Aether's body and noticed the faint mark just under the rim of his top.

"?!" Aether was alarmed when he pushed his top up showing his chest.

There was one a moment of silence as his all black eyes gazed. Then a sudden shake alarmed Aether.

"SOILED!" Verdis shrieked nearly bursting his ear drums, "MY BELOVED!" The sound of his screams was so loud Aether's ears hurt. "What insolent creature would dare lay their hand upon my beloved sun?!"

"I can't call for him!" Aether quickly thought. "What can I do?! I can't fight him like this!" With chance he grabbed a stone whacking Verdis with it. He used that opening to get up and run only for his foot to be grabbed. "!!" Aether fell right back down, "Mh!!" He hit his nose making it pop, blood spurted dripping quickly. "It hurts!"

There was no time to worry as he was dragged back, "Where are you running to?" Verdis grinned, the black blood stopped dripping and the wound he had was healed. "Are you running to the bastard? YOU'RE LEAVING ME?!" The monstrous roar frightened him, but Aether couldn't be bothered to stand still.

He used force in his kick slamming his foot into his face more than once for him to let go. Freed of his grasp Aether ran back the way he had come. Sweat, blood, he fought to get the gunk off his mouth but couldn't. Paimon floated out of her hiding place and he pushed her to run.

"MM!!" Aether tried to scream,

"Ack! Aether?!"

"MMN!!" He took her hand and ran, Paimon heard the crash behind them and looked, a monster roared.

"AETHERRR!!"

"EEEEEK!!" She flew and Aether ran.

Back under the rubble he crawled with speed jumping over the debris they ran for the exit that began to distort. He grabbed Paimon and with all his strength threw her first.
