"Ack!" Grabbed from behind Aether was lifted easily.

"Traveler?!" Paimon was shocked too.

"Whoa!" This time it was a direct attack from the front. Once again he was lifted off the ground.

"Huh?!" Again, Paimon was shocked too.

"Geez!" Aether was startled once again being lifted off his feet.

Paimon sighed putting her hands on her hips, "Hey! We have to work!"

"Ahh???" Aether was growing used to this now, but still recieved no explanation for it.

Paimon floated curiously and finally came out to ask, "Xiao, what's going on with you?"

Xiao had been the culprit behind these attacks. With his arms wrapped around Aether's waist, he buried his face in his chest sniffing him. Looking at Paimon he set Aether down, "It's nothing." Arms crossed he pretended like nothing happened.

However she wouldn't let him go easily this time, "Hey! This has happened four times already!" She fretted, "Paimon's confused! The least you can do is explain what you're grabbing Traveler for!"

"Hmph, I needn't answer." He turned away closing his eyes.

"Hah?! Ooo-Paimon's definitely gonna give you an ugly nickname!" She huffed crossing her arms and turning away too.

Aether chuckled finding them cute, "Here," he gave her an allowance to buy snacks, "get something light, I'll make dinner soon."

"Now we're talking!" She drooled thinking of all that she could eat.

Floating off she was easy to appease whereas this mighty Adeptus seemed lost in thought now. Aether sighed and stood by him, "Did something happen?" Aether asked and Xiao looked at him.

"...." he was contemplating whether to tell him or not so Aether smiled and said,

"You've been hugging me a lot lately. Are you happy about something?"

"Happy?" Xiao liked the word, it sounded rather nice. "Hm."

"Is that it?" Aether was excitedly surprised, "You're happy Xiao?" His smile widened.

"....." he had a slight blush on his cheek that confirmed Aether's accusation.

"You are! I'm so glad!" He was shining too brightly. It was blinding but Xiao never minded it. "What happened? Can you tell me?"

Delighted Aether was so curious he held out his hand and opened it. The shining Star floated up shining just as brightly as he was. Aether's eyes brightened they seemed to glow. His smile had gone for only a second and appeared again even bigger.

"It's a Star!"

Xiao was surprised he knew what it was and asked, "You know of it?"

"Of course!" He shuffled around in his pocket and held out his hand too. Upon seeing the same item Xiao was stunned. "I know about it mostly because of the... the dream I had, but I confirmed a lot of the information with the Electro Archon." Aether said more than excited now. "That's amazing, but.. why did we both get one?" He now wondered, "Can I?" He gestured to touching it and Xiao allowed him to do so. "Yours is so pretty..-" Aether touched it gently and the Star seemed to shine all the more.

However to their sudden surprise as he touched it, the golden dust fluttered and its color began to change. Flushed into a strangely elegant royal purple they saw small specs of gold that twinkled like stars in the night sky. The very dust looked like a galaxy contained within the small ornament. The patterns began to shift and change before setting on something entirely new.
