After that disasterous outcome of a first day at college, I went back to the organisation. This could actually turn out to become a problem. Kenma had recognized me after all these years!

As if that wasn't bad enough, there still was a feeling of guilt nagging at my heart. Guilt that threatened to eat me up as a whole, if I didn't reveal the truth anytime soon. But I know that I will need to learn to live with this feeling of overbearing dread, if I want Kenma to be save.

And because of these exact reasons, I am on the way to X's office. He's the only one, excluding applemap, who knows about my past with Kenma.

I slammed his door open and the sight of X sleeping soundly on his desk welcomed me. It's been the first time after years that I saw him sleeping. Well, I guess I should just leave. I do not know when the next time Codes around where he would be sleeping.

As I took a step backwards, I felt something hitting my ankle. I looked down to see a red light blinking under some newspaper articles and metal handcuffs, no feetcuffs, around my feet.  Before I knew it a loud beeping sound errupted in the room and the door shut loudly. Locks, that I have never seen before, appeared behind me.

Suddenly, X jumped up from his nap. "NO, you thief! You will never be able to steal anything from me! How naive to think, that I sleep at all!"

"X.... You stupid little brat, I will--"

"Oh, it's you." He looked dissapointed at me after he heard my voice. He faced me with his back, turning back to his work behind him.

"HEY! Don't ignore me!"

"What do you want? I am not in the best mood right, now. ... I thought I had actually caught a thief..." He mumbled the last part under his breath.

"Sorry that I am not a thief.", I said sarcastically. I exhaled slowly before I looked at him again. "I am here for adivice."

X continued to Schrauben and build on his New invention not looking at me as he answered: "Go on."

"Do you still remember a Kenma? That highschool student who you said would sneeze on a flower?", I began. X stopped his movements and turned back towards me.

"Yeah. You fell in love with him so bad, you almost contemplated to stop your work as a spy completly", he said teasingly. I deadpanned with dissapointment becoming clear in my expression. "Yeah, what's with him?", he asked while pulling a orange juice box out of his desk drawer.

"He goes to the college I go to." He nodded in response and took a sip of his juice. "And recognized me." I heard choking sounds coming from X as he supported himself on the desk. He spat out the juice onto some important looking papers. There was a short silence between us before he continued: „He recognized you!?"

He had the same reaction as me. Shocked and confused at the words coming from the other person's mouth. „Well, yeah. I think he believed me when I told him a not really an excuse type of excuse."

X cleared his throat and turned alot more serious then before. Even through the goggles he wore, I could see the faint worry in his eyes. „Are you fine? Do you want to continue this mission? Or more like, can you continue this mission?", he asked me.

I sighed tiredly. It wasn't like i was uncomfortable with Kenma after all that had happened. But the thought that I will hurt him again, breaks my heart into million of pieces. It has been 7 years. 7 years, that I tried to forget. But only a small fragment of the feelings I harboured were forgotten. The majority hid in the darkest corner of my memories, like it waited to be able to get out again.

„It's not that easy. The organisation is more short staffed than ever. We don't have any other qualified spies in the moment that could take over this mission. It will be over anyway in less than a month, if I would see it in a positive light! Right, always be optimistic!" I fist bombed to the ceiling trying to see this as a good experience.

„Also, could you please get me out of these footcuffs?"

The next morning, that I had dreaded for the past night, came and my first class would start soon. (Un)fortunately for me, I have it with Kenma. And weirdly enough, the next few ones aswell. What can I say? Fate really wants us to live in agony.

As I walked down the hallway, contemplating if I should just hide out in the vents for this class, Kenmas familiar presence filled my vision. He waved at me while smiling sweetly and I felt my heart jumping in excitement. As if this wasn't already enough, my palms started to sweat aswell as he walked over to me.

He was so picture perfect and somehow my eyes naturally followed his every move. It felt like everything around me was blurred out and the only one I could see was him. His smile was tantalizingly beautiful-- Okay, that was enough. I am supposed to not get distracted by him.

He greeted me and we both went inside the class. I wasn't able to concentrate at all. Him being alive and well next to me was enough for my heart to start running a marathon. We sat down next to eachother as more students filled the room.

I shook my head in a desperate attempt to get my thoughts on the right track again. I need to analyse every little thing about every person present in this room. I looked around while squinting my eyes to get a good look on all the people.

The professor of this class is a woman with a short brown bob. She looked friendly and in her profile, that the organisation provided me with, was nothing suspicious written about her. I guess she isn't one of the terrorist.

The next person I set my eyes on was a deliquent looking student. He had pretty crazy hair and wore a black leather jacket. Well, I can exclude him aswell. On his profile was written, that he was never involved in anything serious. And also, he volunteers at an animal shelter every few days.

The list went on and on till I noticed a nice looking young man with brown hair. There was something very suspicious about him but I couldn't quite lay my finger on it. As I went through all the profiles, I had memorized 2 days ago, I came to a conclusion. There was no information about him.

Not even his name is known nor where he is from or which classes he takes. An unwell feeling washed over me as I stared him down, unsuspiciously.  I think I got the bad guy. I quickely tapped on my glasses, that X build so that you could take photos with it. As I did exactly that, I felt a tap on my shoulder. The class had already begun and I looked back at Kenma who seemed slightly concerned. "Is everything alright? You have been starring into nothing for 10 minutes already."

Oh god. I forgot that Kenma had pretty sharp eyes. "Ha.. haha! No, I am alright." Well, this was embarrassing. My cheeks heated up and I looked down to my empty notebook.

But still, this uncomfortable feeling about this guy, didn't go. It was almost sufficating. Maybe I am just imagining it? No, trust your intuition. This guy is bad news.

The class ended pretty soon afterwards. I needed to check on more information about this guy. Maybe I just forgot his profile? That would sound plausible, knowing that I remembered like 300 of them the past few nights but that'd mean that I like failed at the easiest task of a spy.

Kenma and I left the class together and I quickely needed to find an excuse. "Hey, Kenma. You can go ahead! I really, really, need to go to the toilet! ASAP!"

I quickely ran away before he could answer me. I hope he can forgive me this. But on this mission depends the world's peace!

I settled in an empty bathroom stall and looked over the information again. So, I have some profiles of a few members of the terrorist group. In total five. But in no one is that guy from class mentioned. And no member looks like him. But at the end, these are only a few of the many members.

I quickly got a morse code device out of my bag and contacted X and the organisation for more information about that guy. If it actually turns out that he is one of them, I will need to be even more cautious.
