Evealyn no longer feeling their presence in the room begins to break down. Heavy sobbing, her mind and body wanting her to believe that it's all real. Yet she can't bring herself to even think it's possible to believe anything right now. Feeling that she should have never decided to stop taking the psychosis medication a year ago. Starting to think she would have been able to better handle what's happening. Even with the endless nausea, disorientation and headaches that felt like boulders were crushing her skull. At least when she took them they numbed her. She never had to deal with the endless emotions when she couldn't feel them.
It would make her feel empty but her mind was at peace to say the least. Now she has to deal with them after finally having it all under control. Falling into an hour of hysterics, she would scream making her lungs and throat feel like it's coated in lava. Misty would rub against her licking at her tears again. After some time it would somehow tranquilize her kneading into her lap.
Evealyn looks down at the feline who was nothing but a gray blob due to her tears. Reaching out to pet her, misty curled up in her lap purring. The vibrations going through her were her sedative, the cacophony of emotions wading away. Evealyn felt that clarity she would get from the medication without the empty feeling coming after. Her mind was like a window that had been washed after a heavy rain storm.
Evealyn doesn't know how Misty is able to give off such an effect, but knows one thing is clear and it's what she needs. Being a bit calmer now is still skeptical in knowing if everything that has happened so far is real. A gut feeling telling her that it just might, and should try and get the whole situation figured out. Thinking that she must have really come back but was so nervous she started getting lost in her imagination that her grandmother died. Trying to rationalize the best possible explanation for all of this.
Evealyn slowly began taking herself out of bed moving the curtain to the side. Feeling a bit dizzy from the overwhelming breakdown she had. "Maybe I should have listened to Rae." Thinking to herself, though, gives herself the benefit of the doubt as nothing is made and still does not make sense to her. Putting on her slippers; feeling overstimulated from all her senses suddenly acting up at once along with her dizzying feeling.
"Meowr~"
Seeing Misty look up at her, realizing that she feels more grounded with her touch. Evealyn scoops Misty in her arms wanting to go downstairs to face whatever might happen.
As soon as she walks over to the door opening it, surprised to find Rae standing at the door. "Ah, Ev I thought you might be a little hungry so I brought you dinner." By the sound of Rae's voice it sounded slightly rocky with a hint of sadness behind it. Evealyn lets her in silently, conflicted with how she feels with her being there right now. Looking at the tray in Rae's hand they both realize there's no proper place to set it down.
"Right, you don't have a desk." Rae says biting her lip not sure what to do now having come all the way up here. Evealyn thinks it would be a waste to send her down again, remembering that she has a folding desk in her closet.
"I think I have one in the closet." Evealyn's voice coming out like a barely audible raspy whisper. Pointing over to it, she would get it herself but she would have to risk putting Misty down. Causing her to lose any grip on reality in the process of doing so. Rae, seeing this, puts the tray down on the bed walking over to the closet. It took her some time to find it, being perched up in the back corner behind some clothes.
Rae set it up in front of the big coral throne chair by the window. Having to move over the giant octopus guarding over it. One of its tentacles seemingly wraps around Rae's arm while she moves it. Evealyn takes a seat resting Misty on her lap as Rae brings over the tray.
