Bodhi. Bodhi. Bodhi. Bodhi. I can't get this man out of my head. It's pissing me off, I should be thinking about a number of different things, but I can't get his name out of my head or that kiss from my lips.
T.Valkorin Journal Entry
"Cadet, Valkorin." A voice she loathes speaks as she exits the dining hall with her squad, Ridoc at her side, joking about something, definitely not talking about what happened with Bodhi the other day. She hasn't told anyone, it's something she'd like to keep to herself for a while.
Her squad freezes as her face falls at the sight of his white hair and burly appearance. "Professor." She says, nodding her head slightly in greeting.
"You're coming with me." Carr orders, looking down his nose at the cadets in front of him. "Now." He clarifies when she doesn't move.
Tierney's jaw ticks once, "I have class right now, and it's not yours." She tells him firmly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Must I remind you that you are the one demanding me to teach you more?" He asks, the question rhetorical. "If you do not come with me now, I will not teach you when you have my class. Make your choice, Valkorin."
Tierney sighs and takes a step forward, away from her squad. "I'll see you later." She tells them, offering a small smile and a wave that Ridoc returns as she moves to leave.
"Have fun, Tier!" Liam calls after her, his voice teasing and earning a flash of Tierney's middle finger in response, only causing the squad to laugh.
"Anam," Tierney calls her dragon's name as she removes the boulder from the stream, its crystal surface now tainted with the colour of blood.
"Little One?" Anam's response is instant, knowing Tierney doesn't lower the barrier she's been building for weeks after what occurred between her and Bodhi. She's been trying to keep her shields up for as long as possible without them wavering, as per what Bodhi had said. She doesn't lower them intentionally often, and whenever they fall unintentionally, Anam is diligent in mocking her about it.
"Carr's taking us away for a lesson." She informs her as she follows the professor through the quadrant grounds, three steps behind.
Anam hums for a moment before saying, "Do you remember what time it is?"
Tierney pauses for a second and purses her lips as they enter the academic wing. "No...?"
"The second year in your wing has Carr's class, Little One," Anam tells her, and Tierney's blood drains, yet her face begins to heat with thoughts of what she's been trying to ignore.
"Are you sure you're not getting any of the times mixed up?" Tierney asks, her voice hesitant, knowing her dragon isn't wrong.
Anam makes a noise similar to how Tierney would assume dragons would grumble. "Your attraction and embarrassment still baffles me."
Tierney sighs as she follows Carr into his classroom, ignoring the looks she gains from the second years in the room. Many don't spare her a second glance, after all, this isn't the first nor will it be the last she's walked into their lesson following Carr.
Tierney assumes many are annoyed at her constant presence; after all, it means they don't get time with the only wielding teacher available since he's teaching her.
No matter how hard she tries, it's hard to stop her eyes from wandering the room, wondering if a certain second-year is in the room. "Professor?" A voice asks a voice Tierney isn't hoping to hear.
