i promised i would get a new part out before my spring break ended (on sunday...) so consider it here, albeit a few days late! i did not proofread/edit this as i wanted to get it out so please ignore any spelling or grammar mistakes. there will be a part 2, and maybe 3, but i honestly have been and will be super busy so i'm not exactly sure when those will be written and published. i combined a few requests for this, and a few more requests will be showing up in the next part(s) as well. this is technically a continuation of Taylor and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day but can also be considered a stand alone. enjoy!!!

"Call me if you feel anything wrong, okay baby? If you have a single contraction or your water breaks or you feel sick and-"

"Trav," his wife sighed, rolling her eyes. "I'll be fine, I'm not even due for another week."

"I know, I just feel so bad leaving you and our little girl, especially when she's so close to being born." He smiled softly, kneeling down to kiss Taylor's large baby bump over her (formerly his) oversized red Chiefs sweatshirt. He gently moved his hands along her bump, grinning when he was rewarded with a soft kick.

"We'll miss you so much," Taylor smiled, running her hands on top of his.

Andrea, who had been watching the couple say goodbye for the past twenty minutes, laughed from her place on the stairs. "Don't worry Travis! I'll make sure your girls are safe and sound all weekend."

As Taylor was a little over a week from her due date, and Travis had an away game in Chicago, the couple decided to have Andrea stay with Taylor over the weekend, just in case anything happened.

Travis smiled, before getting up and kissing Taylor once more. "I'll miss you both so so much. I love you, baby. And you, mini baby," he placed his hands on her bump again. "I love both my babies."

"We love you too." Taylor teared up. "Now go get in the car already before I really start to cry," she laughed.

"I'll call you as soon as I land." Travis said, heading out of the house towards his waiting Rolls Royce. "Oh and text or have your mom text if anything-"

"Bye Trav." Taylor smiled, shutting the front door behind him.

Her smile quickly turned into a grimace as she leaned against the door and battled a sharp pain in her lower back.

Andrea was at her daughter's side instantly. "Are you okay, hon?"

"Yeah, I'm... fine," Taylor breathed out, relaxing as the pain stopped. "It's just Braxton Hicks. They've been happening for the past week or so."

"I take it Travis doesn't know about them," Andrea chuckled at her stubborn daughter.

"Are you kidding, Mom! He would never even have left if I told him," she smiled. "I'm sure baby is going to stay in there until he's back."

Despite the singer's confident words, inside she wasn't as certain. She'd felt different the last few days, not horribly so, but she had a feeling her daughter would be making an appearance sooner rather than later. She'd been keeping this feeling a secret from her husband, as Travis would have never set foot on the plane had he known.

Andrea smiled knowingly, most definitely seeing through her daughter's facade. "Well let me know if anything changes, okay Tay? I can get security and the hospital situated as soon as you need it."

Taylor laughed, shaking her head at the older woman. "Mom, stop talking like I'm going to deliver my baby tomorrow! I have a football game to watch!"

Unfortunately, by 4:00 in the morning, Taylor was absolutely certain that she was not experiencing Braxton Hicks, but real contractions. She'd been woken up by the worst one yet about thirty minutes prior, but had yet to fall asleep again before the next two hit, each fifteen minutes apart.
