Jason Maxwell. The man behind the helmet of Spirit of St. Louis. Not much is told about him. Perhaps that should be changed.
Jason pulled into the employee parking lot of the Science Center. He put on his id badge and walked in. Despite being a speedster, he had to keep up the appearance of a normal man. So he walked in with a coffee in hand.
“Hey, Frank.” He said as he walked past security.
“Hey, Jackson.”
“Jason, man. My name is Jason.”
“Uh huh.”
“Asshole.” Jason said under his breath.
He quickly, not too quickly, went to his locker and set his lunch box in it and grabbed his tool kit. Like his lunch box, he is able to wrap his tools around his body. Once done with that, he quickly finished his coffee and got ready for work. As he was heading to the children’s playroom to work on a broken light, his boss stopped him.
“Jason!”
“Oh, uh, boss, ma’am, las!” Jason quickly yelped in a panic. “Sorry, Ms. Fischer, what’s wrong?”
“One of the dinosaurs stopped working. Would you be able to fix it?”
“Of course, which one?”
“The T-rex.”
“Shit. Of course it’s broken. Ok. I’ll be right there.”
He followed his boss to the dinosaur exhibit and immediately, he could tell the animatronic T-rex was no longer working properly. It seemed to be twitching and the roar was staticy. Jason stepped over the railing and crawled under the T-rex.
“Mommy, why can he go under the T-rex but I can’t?” He overheard a kid ask.
Jason just chuckled to himself before he started working. He found the panel controlling the animatronics and turned it off, allowing himself to work.
After a few minutes of working, he mostly fixed the problem, but he noticed that it lost its charge, power on or off. So, he quickly looked around him and saw that he was alone, no one could see him. So he started vibrating his hand at a high speed. White electricity began to course around his hand. He slowly moved it to the panel and the electricity jumped from his hand to it, giving it its charge. The dinosaur turned back on and Jason closed everything back up and crawled out.
Just then, his boss came walking back into the room.
“You got it working again. Well done.”
“Thanks. It was no problem.”

Jason’s lunch finally came around and he stopped working on his current project to help advance the Science Center and went to the cafe. Once there, he was joined by his friend, George.
