Jason chuckled.
"It really does ruin the magic." He continued. "Now you're just some fucker cosplaying at Comic Con."
"How did you get out?" Barry asked.
"Barry, Barry, Barry. Remember, I'm an engineer. I am also not an idiot. I kept all the stuff I needed to make a small bomb in my suit. Of course none of them were together, all separate. Alone, they were nothing, together, they literally became nothing." Jason imitated an explosion.
Jason started pacing around the room, Barry mirrored him, trying to make sure he didn't try to escape.
"You, keeping your suit on display like that isn't really the brightest thing. Anyone can walk in and see the suit. Maybe not be able to associate you with the speedster. But know that The Flash works in S.T.A.R. Labs, and sooner or later, they'll be able to put the pieces together. Now if you would excuse me, I have a sex trafficker to kill."
"I can't let you leave." Barry said.
Jason sighed, he had a few ideas on how to convince him, but he didn't like any of them.
"Fuck it. Ok, Barry. You are fast, very fast in fact. I can run and you can catch up. But here's the thing. They're not." He pointed to Cisco and Caitlyn. "Now, you may be able to save one of them. But both? Now that's the grand question."
Cisco raised his fists, ready to blast Jason, and Caitlyn's eyes and hair went white.
"Ok, that's weird." Jason responded, caught off guard. "Ok, they can defend themselves. That's good. Good to have friends like that. Ok, how about this?"
Jason walked over to the Flash suit and took the emblem off.
"You reveal who I am to the world, I will reveal who you are. I don't want to, because I do actually respect and admire you. But I've got to cover my ass somehow. Now you may not care if people start to find out who you are. But the people you love may. People that hate The Flash for foiling their evil plans may seek revenge, and what's a better way to hurt someone than hurting the ones they love?"
Barry looked to Vibe and Frost, unsure what to say.
"The choice is yours. So, what will it be?" Jason asked. "Barry Allen and Jason Maxwell, or The Flash and The Spirit? The Forensic Scientist and the Engineer, or the Scarlet Speedster and the Spirit of St. Louis?"
Barry thought on it long and hard. He looked at everything and everyone. But then finally he turned to Jason.
"Get out of here, Spirit."
"Pleasure doing business with you."
Jason sped out of S.T.A.R. Labs, but he put the emblem in Barry's arms as he left.

Jason raced to where he hid his stuff, secretly hidden in the river, covered in a large waterproof bag. He quickly took it back to the building he originally kept his stuff and began reading over all of Trevor's information.
