I've realized I have never put this in yet. If any of you watched The Flash, you may remember the intro monologues. I miss them, thought they were cool, so here we are.

My name is Jason Maxwell, and I am an anti-hero speedster. When I went to Central City for vacation, I was struck by lightning directly from the Speed Force. To most people, I am an engineer currently working at the Science Center. But the reality is, I don't care if I damn my soul by killing the monsters of my city. If eternal suffering in Hell is the price I pay, it'll be worth it. I am the Spirit of St. Louis!

Jason came into work, a bit late though

Jason came into work, a bit late though. He was running, not too fast to keep up with appearances. He burst through the front doors, spilling his coffee all over himself.

"Oh, fucking hell!"

"Hey, Jackson." The security guard said, not even acknowledging the coffee spill.

"How many times do I have to tell you, it's Jason. Jason, man."

"Whatever."

"Fucking hell." The speedster responded, not really wanting to deal with this shit.

So Jason made way into the employee locker room where he ran into George.

"You're late."

"And you're black. Are we just stating the obvious?"

George just laughed before he walked closer to him and whispered.

"But you're a speedster, how are you late?"

"Yeah, I'm a speedster. I'm also a speedster who's trying to keep up with appearances as a regular dude."

"So you don't just run over here?"

"No, because do you have any idea on what would happen if anyone else but you found out who I am?"

"Didn't Flash find out?"

"Yes, and I know who he is, which is why he's not saying anything."

"And you still won't tell me."

"Of course. That's not my secret to tell."

"You know, for a guy who has killed a lot of people, you certainly do have an incredible code, I guess it would be code. What would you call it? Honor? Rules?"

"Probably rules, because without them." Jason started the quote.

"We would live with the animals." George finished.

"Amen. Look, when my niece came out to me as bi, I told no one until she was fully out. Now I knew my brother and sister-in-law would be a hundred percent supportive, but I respect secrets. Well, secrets aren't illegal or just flat out wrong if you know what I mean."

"Right, like how you kept my secret."

"Dude you call that a secret? Everyone knew you had a crush on Susan. A blind man could see you were in love with her. But hey, I don't have to keep that 'secret' anymore."
