"Haw , Why?" Varahi asked , looking at him , while eating.

"Before you came , I never or rarely used to eat the stuff I eat, But now" Avyaan replied ,  not turning his gaze from the road. He was one of those gym freaks with a very boring diet.

"Shadi karne se pehle soch na chahiye tha apko" Varahi played along.

"Mujhe pata hi nahi tha , ki itne saalo ki mehnat par paani fer dogi tum"

"Wow" Varahi exclaimed and Avyaan chuckled, accelerating the car as he drove through a now clear road ,close to their locality.

"By the way , how did you know that the girl was with her boyfriend?" Avyaan asked, curious about the certain point.

"She was calling him baby and all , baby my foot , stupid girl" Varahi said , her voice dry , while Avyaan made an O-shaped face , not speaking any further, who knows that they end up arguing because of some random girl. But his insides jumped as he realised how jealous she was.

"You brought a lot of stuff , Avi, '' Ragini said, keeping the bag on the dining table just beside the casserole.

"For you Mom"

"Oh , Then we are eating only the mushroom curry and Puri," Ranvijay said, nodding as if he were hurt.

"Dad" Avyaan chuckled as he continued, "For you too , for everyone" .

"Avyaan you will eat what everyone else will?" Ragini asked as she looked at Varahi serving him.

"Hmm , Mummy Ji , I told him I don't care if he gained weight, ''Varahi said and Avyaan shot her a glare making her realise what she said. Dammit.

"Ohhh" Nishant said , while everyone smiled at her reply.

"No, I mean , It wasn't like this-"

"we understand," Ragini retorted , chuckling , while everyone continued smiling.

"You sit too"

"No Chachu , I will eat after everyone is done"

"Sit beta" Ranvijay said as Radhika also asked her to sit , agreeing with her son, while Varahi looked at him and then around , unsure.

She did eat with everyone when the workers were there but the fact that the workers on a new year holiday , she chose to eat later.

Somedays could be counted as an exception.

"Varahi sit , We will serve ourselves" Ragini said looking at Varahi , who finally nodded , sitting on the chair after filling her plate with minimal food.

"Bas?" Avyaan said, glancing at her plate and then at her.

Varahi nodded as she tore the first
piece , dipping it in the mushroom curry.

"Eat these too" Avyaan said , indicating at the bag , to which his chachu replied that they would eat later.

It was around 11:30 in the night and Dhurv was back on time along with Trisha, while Yuvaan was still out telling that he was on his way back home.

"It's cold," Varahi said as she slipped inside the blanket, picking up her phone as she settled on her side of the bed.

Varahi looked at him, who was busy on his laptop , setting an alarm for 12 o'clock so as to wish him , Varahi laid comfortably on the bed.

Varahi felt quite weird for the last two days. She was hugging him to sleep and he let her hug him the way she wanted, but he wasn't hugging her at all.
