The next two days went with more rest and less work. Avyaan was sitting in his study , spinning around his chair. His arms crossed above his chest.

Sighing he got up from his chair and turned off his laptop before moving out of the room.

"Let's talk" Avyaan said as he entered the room , Varahi sitting on the bed ready to sleep.

Varahi looked at him before again turning her attention back to the novel kept on her lap.

"I am talking to you," Avyaan said, approaching her.

"Varahi?" He continued as she kept playing deaf ears to him.

"What?" Varahi asked irritatedly as she looked at him while he got settled on the bed.

"What's with your tone?" He asked his voice changed as he spoke , looking at her. She let out an audible deep breath as she continued ignoring him.

"What is wrong with you?" Avyaan continued asking , sounding so done with her.

Wrong with her? Wow.

"Varahi" Avyaan called her out sternly and she just passed him a look before turning her gaze to the novel she was reading. His jaw tightened . He forwarded his hand and took the book away from her and kept it on the table on his side of bed.

"What the fu-"

"Don't you dare complete the sentence" He warned , cutting her off in between.

"What"
"The"
"Fuck , I did , now what?" Varahi belted, crossing her arms above her chest while Avyaan normally looked at her.

Wasn't he aware of the unnecessary attitude his wife had?
He was.

"Drop that attitude" Avyaan deadpanned , his voice low yet demanding. He sounded so serious right now but she cared less.

"There is no attitude" Varahi stated , she sounded so unbothered which left him way too bothered about the whole thing.

Avyaan raked his fingers through his locks, he came to talk to her , to talk about working things out. He needed to know the exact thought that she had about whatever Priya asked her. But here she was offering him the unnecessary attitude which was not at all needed.

"I came here to talk to you," Avyaan stated. Instead of saying anything which might turn into something worse. Their arguments and fights never seemed entertaining to him .

He never showed if their arguments or any conflict bothered him , he was always like - I don't give a fuck - but he did. Everything left him so bothered. Always.

He couldn't resist the urge to ask her about the whole thing . His mind was full of her. He couldn't think straight to assume the possibilities and neither did he try to put himself in her shoes to understand.
