I walked towards the school, my dress swished around my knees.  I was nervous as hell, I mean this was a big step in the wrong or right direction.  But I could tell Brook wanted answers, I did too, but I was still nervous.  We could totally be wrong, but I had a feeling we weren't.  I heeded to the gym.  

"Heeyy, Charlotte!" I heard Elena's high pitched annoying voice behind me.  Oh god, she had complete ignored me at lunch, what did she want now. I turned around.

"Hi Elena."

"Omg! Is this your first school dance? I totally get it," she said," Here I'll show you around. I just came out of the gym!"

"No thanks," I said," I'm looking for someone, do you know any original vampires by any chance?" i walked away feeling pretty pumped.  Elena grabbed my arm.

"What do you know about Klaus?" The happy fake girl was gone, she was replaced with a mean angry one.

" You better-"

Suddenly Bonnie walked up to us," Hi Elena and... Charlotte."

"She knows," Elena said, like i wasn't standing right there!

"How much!" Bonnie exclaimed

"Umm.. I'm right here," I said

"How does she know?" Elena whispered to bonnie

"She can hear you," Bonnie whispered back," Ya know, vampire."

"Witch," I muttered.  Suddenly Mr. Saltzman walked up behind us.

"Elena, Klaus has Jeremy."

"What!" Elena cried," where?"

"Jeremy who?" I asked," And is this klaus as in  big bad original vampire Klaus?"

"Jeremy the little brother and Yes, that Klaus," Bonnie," Charlotte-"

"She's coming," Elena said

"What?" Bonnie said eyeing me like I was a slime ball.

"We need all the help we can get fighting Klaus," Elena looked at me," Charlotte meet  Alaric."

"Mr. Saltzman?"

"Crazy this vampire stuff, isn't it. You never know who''s involved," Alaric smiled," C'mon girl he's this way."

We heeded in to the school, gong away from the gym.  We passed lockers and classrooms.  Wow this Klaus guy must be an odd person hiding Jeremy in a school and all, I thought.  Suddenly I felt a buzz in my pocket, I hated to ignore Brooke but this was important.  Suddenly we were at a dead end in front of the trophy case, a place in school were no one ever goes.

"Alaric, where's Jeremy?" Elena said.  Alaric turned around smiling.

"No.." Elena whispered

"Hello love." Klaus said smiling.  Bonnie moved her hands, BAM! Klaus flew across the room and hit the trophy case.  The sound a glass breaking was ringing in my ears.

"Elena run, Charlotte protect her!" Bonnie yell, Elena and I ran with out a second thought.

"Love, I have a witch on my side.  You're going to have to hit me a lot harder than that." Klaus was saying as we left.  

"Stefan, we need to get Stefan and Damon," Elena said and started to walk to the gym.

"No!" I said

"Why not?" Elena looked at me like I was crazy.

"Elena you said we need all the help we can get fighting Klaus, you go get Stefan and Damon.  I gonna make a call," I said determined.  Elena nodded and ran off. I called Katie.
