"Are you going to feed?" I asked looking at her face.

"I have to right?"

"No you don't."

Katie smiled at me, "We can be a family forever. I'll do it."

Her first feed was a bloody one, buy somehow I knew we could get her through this.

First we had to get Katie all the way through the transformation. It sucks you get big headaches and you feel like your on fire. Yeah it sucks. You have to drink lots of human blood and eat lots of food. You always want to kill humans, like 24-7. Yeah it sucks. My supply of blood bags was low again every single day. I had to teach her how to control her her powers too. "

"Just run," I said,"It's easy."

"Liar!" She said

"Wow." she said the day we were doing running," My mile time could have been so much better!"

"Yeah!" I said," I think they might know you are a vampire if you finish in 40 seconds."

"Fair Point."

After a while she became okayish again, well as okay ish you can be as a vampire.

"Char." She said on day 15," I think I'm ready to kill this other vampire."

"Alright, let's do this thing." I said.

Chapter 2

Knock! Knock! I pounded on Brooklyn Bennett's door.

"Bennett! Its us!"

The door opened and there was Katie's best friend Brook.

"Sorry Char I was in the shower." She turned to Katie," Hey kitkat." She gave Katie a hug but almost a once jumped back. Yeah Brook is a witch, somehow vampires give off vibes of death that only wichites came feels. I always think why death, why not rainbows or something.

"Who did this?" She asked.

"Some creepy guys," Katie explained," Wich is why we came to you."

"You want me to track him?"

"Yup."

" Was this Char's plan?." She turned to me,

"Maybe." I squeaked

"Please Brook." Katie begged.

"Alright, but I'm coming with you. Because it was Chars plan."

"Okay." Katie said. I didn't know how open I was to this idea. On the other hand we need a witch to do some witchy voodoo stuff. Brook turned to me, "Close your eyes and think about him."I put all my energy on those memories.

"That's odd," Brook said," I can't get a face, just an area."

"Why not?"

"Either he has a witch on his side or you all ready know him?"

"No! I have no clue who he is!"

"What's the place?" Katie asked.

"Mystic Falls, Virginia. Theres is on problem..." Hey I thought to myself, I know Mystic Falls...

"What!" Katie asked.

"They know vampires exist."

"What?!?!" Katie said.

"In the 1800 vampires roomed the town," Brook explained.

"Come on guys! To late to turn back!" I said.

"Fine." Katie said," But only if..." She looked at Brooks car.

"Hell no!" I said. Me and Katie always argue about driving.

"To save us the next century," Brook said,"I'm driving."
