"...girl, why the hell do you look so nervous.. it's a fucking nightclub no one is gonna eat you alive in here..." Durrell laughed at how shady and awkward Lucia looked rocking from foot to foot as they waited in a long queue to get into the club.
"This is so not me... I could just head home now..." she said shaking her head.
Durrell linked arms with her tightly. "Absolutely fucking not sista.. we are doing this.." he said, keeping her close to him. "I have not had you to myself like this for a long time."
As they waited in a crowd full of loud party goers, some drinking, some smoking, some snorting cocaine from the backs of their hands, using it up as quickly as they could before entering.
A car pulled up, a black Ghost with fully tinted windows everyone craned their necks to see who this was. Lucia knew and smiled feeling homely and happy as she saw Raphael get out with a few other men. He looked smart and handsome all done up for a night out. She had always looked up to him and loved him like a father figure as she had never had one aside from him. He had always been someone she could go to with any problems she had.
"Hey... isn't that your very own sexy uncle Raphael over there?.." Durrell said."Yep." She smiled. She felt a little easier knowing that he was going to be inside the club. She wasn't used to being out it wasn't who she was, so to know he was there made her feel a whole lot better.
"Let's go up and talk to him.. maybe he can squeeze us in on their VIP guest list... because that man is definitely on a VIP list tonight" Durrell said.
"No.. let's just get inside, I'm not going to get him to get us in..."
"Oh girl, you can be too shy sometimes..." Durrell started walking towards the front. "Uncle Raphy... UNCLE RAPHY!.." he called louder over the revellers with Lucia shaking her head behind him in tow.
Diego turned round with a frown he then saw Lucia and Durrell. He smirked. "Hey Durrell, long time no see..." he held his fist out to dap him but Durrell went straight in for a very intense hug, gripping him tight like a bear.
Lucia rolled her eyes. "Sorry uncle." She mouthed. He winked at her just as Durrell finally let go of him.
"What are you doing going to a club Lu?." He asked as he knew her well enough to know that this was not her scene.
"Durrell thinks that I could do with letting my hair down..
"And now you're here.. maybe we can stay with you" Durrell smiled.
Diego raised his eyebrows.
"I would rather you didn't, being with us could get you in more trouble than you think... in fact.. Lucia you look out of place... why don't you go home..." he said his over protective side kicking in.She nodded. "I thought the same thing, I should be at home.. I tried to tell him this."
Another car pulled up beside them and Diego took a deep breath as Hadyn got out, he was hoping he would have gotten her to leave before Hadyn had arrived.
Durrell's jaw dropped almost to the floor "wow!." He said in a loud whisper, nudging Lucia, unable to take his eyes off of him.
Hadyn was flanked by security and most people stopped and stared at this huge frame of a man, but through everyone his eyes fell straight to Lucia as if his mind knew she was there and his eyes sought her out.
Lucia looked at him and then looked away.
"Diego my man... I didn't know we would have company..." he said still looking at Lucia.
