I didn't like having free time, so as soon as I got home from tutoring I shot off a text to the group chat with Lana and Mila.

Me: When is the winter formal again?

Lanny: I think it's on December 4th.

Mi mi: I think Lan is right.

Me: You guys want to go dress shopping? I know its a little early but im bored.

Mi mi: Yes absolutely

Lanny: Is that even a question!

Me: Ok Mi come pick us all up.

Mi mi: Why meeeeeeee?

Me: Because we love your car.

Lanny: Very true.

Mi mi: Ok I'll see you guys soon.

Five minutes later I got a text from Mila saying she was here along with a few honks from her car horn. She already picked up Lana so I had to sit in the back next to Scout.

"How is our lovely niece?" Mila asked.

"As whiny as ever, and seemingly not aging." I laughed.

"How many days into this test are you?" Lan questioned.

"Oh god, not nearly enough." I said, throwing my head back against the seat.

"How'd the new tutoring go?" Mi asked.

"Weston." Was all I said.

"No flipping way." Lan said, turning around in her seat to face me.

"Yep." I said, nodding my head.

"I think the world wants you back together." Lana shrugged.

"Never gonna happen Lan." Unlike Mila, Lana had been through it all. She'd been there when Weston and I were inseparable.

We arrived at our first stop with The Lumineers blasting. Each of us tried on a few dresses but only Lana came out with one. For Mila and I none of them were what we wanted. They either weren't the right color or shape or just looked bad. Lana found a stunning dark green long silk dress with the most stunning criss cross back. The green complimented her dark brown hair well. Mila tried on a few red dresses but none of them fit properly.

We moved onto the next store, as we exited the car, my phone pinged with a message. I checked the name and nearly dropped my phone. I had never changed Westons contact name.

Wes woo: What are you doing?

Me: Why?

Wes woo: Just checking in on my kid.

Me: She's fine.

Wes woo: What are you doing?

Me: Dress shopping if you must know.

I texted back reluctantly.

Wes woo: Oh ok, send me pictures.

Me: What? No!

Wes woo: Send me pictures or I'll just come find you.

In the spur of the moment my fingers began typing too fast.

Me: Who doesn't love a game of hide and seek. You have two hours.

Wes woo: Trust me Amelie, I'm far better at this than you think. I'll only need one.

I felt my heart rate climb, what the hell had I just done? And what the hell does he mean he's good at this? Stalking? He's good at stalking?

I began to panic as we entered the small dress shop. What happens if he finds me? Does anything happen if he finds me? Do I want something to happen?

God no, stop this! Nothing will happen. He won't find me. And he won't do anything without my consent, right?

"Guys, we have a problem." I said handing the phone to Mila.
