Alfie took me to his apartment, after I got all my stuff (which wasn't a whole lot). It was pretty simple, two American flags in the front yard of course and the inside was filled with patriotic stuff like flags, Eagles and he even had a gun which I assumed was to protect himself.

"There's a spare bedroom upstairs dudette, it's empty so we can get stuff for you to fill it up with!" He grinned and I smiled back at him

"Maybe some red and white stuff? That's my country's flag colors." I said shyly and he grinned wider "No problem dude... er do you want me to call you Krista? I realized I didn't ask." He rubbed his neck nervously and I giggled

"Krista is fine, but my nickname growing up was Krissy courtesy of Mathias." I sighed "I was always sort of invisible to them, since my country was smaller than theirs." He smiled softly and lifted my head up "Its alright Krissy, you won't have to feel lonely anymore!"

I smiled gratefully "Thanks Alfie, if you don't mind, could we go shopping now?" He smiled "Sure! And then later I can show you around and then we can grab something to eat?" I smiled "I'd like that." I nodded and followed him out the door once again, a new future ahead of me.
