It had been a few months since me and Alfie had gotten married and we were enjoying every second of it. We had honeymooned in California and it was the first time I had ever been on a beach so that was quite... an experience... Let's just say if Alfie ever comes near me with a crab again I WILL kill him in his sleep.
But anyway, I had some very exciting news for Alfie... We had been trying to have a baby for a while and it finally happened. I was pregnant! But I hadn't told him yet, I was trying to find a special way to.
Then it hit me, it was cheesy but it would work. I would just get one of those cute little onesies and give it to him. It really is cheesy when you think about it, but I didn't care. I went out by myself and got one and waited for Alfie to get home. He went to the world meeting without me, I told him I wasn't feeling well and so I waited.
He came home a few hours later and I smiled when I heard him open the door. "Dudette! I'm home! How are ya feeling?" He came into the living room and kissed me on the forehead and looked down on my lap where he saw the baby onesie. "What's that?" He asked, looking puzzled.
I smiled "It's a little baby outfit! Cute huh?" I asked and he looked at me "Yeah... But why do we need it?" I sighed and smiled again "Well, I'm just preparing you know?" He scratched his head "Preparing for what?" I smiled "A baby! I'm gonna have a baby!" His eyes widened and he broke out into a huge grin "For real dudette?! Yes! We have to tell everyone! Oh my god!" He swung me around and I giggled, smiling at his giddiness
He smiled at me "Krista I can't believe it! I love you! I love you so much!" I smiled widely at him and I kissed him. Knowing that fresh new life was going to happen, we were both determined to be the best parents ever!

It was a girl! A beautiful little girl, we named her Alexis and she was adorable. She looked like Alfred, but she had my eyes and my light auburn hair. She's so cute! I can't wait to show her to my brothers. I called them over a few days ago and they got here today!
Finland immediately took a liking to her, and even Norway cracked a small smile at her. Sweden nodded in approval and Denmark swore that they would both rule over the Vikings one day, with her as the princess. Mr. Puffin squawked at her and she giggled at him, smiling widely at them all.
Alfie looked at me, a little worriedly and I looked back at him "What's wrong?" He smiled nervously "We're gonna have to show the others Alex ya know." I paled, knowing how excited the others would be, but would probably scare her or something like that
"Well... We might just be screwed then Alfie."
