Spider pov
The next few days were awkward, the paperwork I had was stacked up and only half was complete, there were no new missions recently. Ever since graves went off the grid, it's been oddly silent, too silent for my liking. Ghost has completely ignored me again after what happened at the range, the way he whispered in my ear was making me crazy but what was even worse was I knew it was wrong to think about my lieutenant like that. I'm currently getting ready to go with Soap, he had invited me to this restaurant with the team, a celebration for my training time last week or something. After getting my silver hoops in, yes silver I just don't like the way gold looks on me it makes me feel cheap in the best way of course.. okay golds just not for me.

Walking out of my room I meet up with Gaz in the hallway, i'm dreading this restaurant thing only because Ghost is going to be there. I swear to god if I have to sit next to him I might actually lose my shit.

"You look worried there." Gaz snapped me out of my thoughts.

"No, i'm good Gaz."

"You sure?"

"Affirmative."

"Alright." He laughed before walking to the rest of the team with me following behind him. I decided to take my car to the restaurant, I don't normally drive it at night but I really don't want to be crammed into a car with everyone. Taking out my keys Soap says something but I didn't really hear much but a questioning voice.

"That's.. your car!?" Soap yells a couple parking spots over. I'm confused, did no one know I drove this thing?

"Um yeah?"

"Is that a Camaro?"

"1993."

"You know how to drive stick?" He asked baffled by the car I was currently opening the door to.

"Of course." I gave him a smile. He tried to get me to let him drive it, however this is my dream car and it might not do so well in puddles and the snow but I'll be damed if someone drives this car besides me. I quickly let him know no one besides me will ever be driving my car, he laughed before getting in Price's Jeep, I watched they drove off before me. Driving to the restaurant I arrived and got out, careful not to touch my windows glass I wouldn't want fingerprints on it. Now my old Sergeant may say I baby my car for the price of it, I say that's bull. Walking in everyone stares at the team, understandable I mean Ghost is behind me again, just like at the bar. I'm refusing to look the man in the eye, not after the shooting rage.

"Hey lass, come sit in the booth next to me." Soap said, excitement laced in his tone. Before I could deny, Gaz took the spot next to Soap while Price sat in the chair at the end of the table leaving me with.. Ghost. Fuck me in the ass, quite literally why does the world hate me in this moment. Ghost nods his head once toward the booth seat silently telling me to sit, i'm honestly claustrophobic sooo that's a no in my book. I decide to shake my head no, he huffs at me before reluctantly sitting down. Proves him right, no way i'm sitting next to a man who's ignoring me, a fine man, but a rude one at that and never mind a seat where I can't escape if I have to. The waiter comes to our table, asking for drinks. They all order beers, but a mango martini sounds yummy so i'm going to get one.

The waiter brings the drinks out, I thank him with a smile before looking through the menu. Searching through there's not much I really want, I haven't been eating a lot lately and it's not a disorder my body just won't take as much food as it used to. My eyes lock on chicken fingers, god i'm a child. The waiter comes back and we all order, I think this is a good time to excuse myself to get some air from the chitchat and most importantly, Ghost. Not to mention and not toot my own horn but the waiter winked at me and keeps on trying to flirt, I may be delusional or just a girl.. who knows. After using the bathroom the food is all set on the table, that's when I notice Price smiling at me so I shrug, what now?

"Chicken Tenders?"

"Chicken fingers actually." I say smiling, If I saw a lieutenant ordering tenders at a restaurant I'd be questioning them too.

"I see." He says as if it's not obvious, a playful glint in his eyes. As we continue eating I drop my fork, I felt like I should at least eat the chicken with something other than my fingers, I don't want to look like an animal. When the waiter comes by to check up on us, I give him my fork informing him I dropped it on the floor and don't need another, until he gives me a funny look, a rude look may I add.

"Did you really need to dirty a dish for that?" Annoyance seeping through the waiters voice.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know i'd drop it you don't need to get me another it's fine." I'm being sympathetic, I know it's busy and being a waiter is stressful my mom used to be one.

"Yeah, whatever." Rolling his eyes he aggressively grabs the fork, it's odd because he was just being nice moments ago.

"Hey, that wasn't very kind of you." Soap speaks almost sounding like a parent talking to their toddler.

"I'm so sorry." The waiter says sarcastically.

"That's enough, apologize now." Ghost's rough voice rings out immediately after the waiters comment.

"Really it's fine, I can wash it if you want?" I'm trying to de-escalate the situation, after all it kinda is my fault but it's getting on my nerves.

"Shouldn't you be doing that?" He says, okay now that was a really great sexist joke but not the first time i've heard it, unoriginal. I stay silent, I'm not going to waste my energy on an ignorant man, no an ignorant boy if that. He may be in his mid-20's but he sure don't act like it. Out of the corner of my eye I see Ghost's hands clench into a fist, I know he has anger issues and I do too but to punch someone over a smart remark.. well I mean if they deserve it I guess.

"Ghost don't." Price warns looking over at towards us.

"I'll just.. um keep the fork?" I say trying to defuse the tension? I'm not really sure anymore.

"Walk away, please." Gaz speaks up, but his tone isn't very friendly. The waiter walks away and the table is silent, looking at the ground I can't believe our night got ruined by me dropping a fork. Is it my fault? Is it the waiters? Why did I need a fork for chicken fingers?

"It's not your fault lass, he's just a dick." A Scottish accent reaches my ears. All I do is nod, I leave my card on the table not really having an appetite anymore.

"I think i'm gonna go, you guys use my card okay?"

"No take your card it's fine Spider." The captain informs.

"No, really I should pay. I'm sorry about you know.. the fork thing? have a good night guys sorry again."

"If you insist, but I don't think you should by yourself." Gaz says, motioning to the waiter talking to another one while looking at our table. Ghost gets up after me, why is it always him for crying out loud. I try to protest before Ghost tells me not to so I comply, there's been enough arguing for one night as it is. Walking out to my car Ghost says he can drive, yeah maybe in his dreams. I shake my head no once before getting into the drivers side and waiting for him to get in. The drive back to base is silent, it seems it's always us that leave early after something I got into. I can tell he's still angry by the way his jaw is clenched, his knuckles are white.. wait he doesn't have his gloves on. His hands are so.. Okay Sieanna knock it off I really need to stop thinking about that but he's so hot who wouldn't. Arriving to our destination we get out and I lock the car before heading to the lounge area to read and then heading off to bed. Today was a total reck and Ghost still won't talk after he grabbed my waist.
