Lucifer woke up in his brand-new loft the next morning. He yawned, feeling drowsy. It was very early in the morning, as he wanted to surprise Charlie with a large breakfast. He knew she was still upset about that snake guy's passing.... What was his name again? Sir Precious?

He tapped his ducky alarm clock and slid off the side of the bed, his bare feet sliding into a pair of white, fuzzy slippers. He stood and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and apply deodorant.

After finishing his morning routine, he yawned again, walking out of his room and down to the kitchen, where he was planning to make a boatload of pancakes for his precious girl.

He switched the light on, letting out an awful shriek as he noticed a tall figure already looming over the stove. "Alastor? What. The. FUCK?" He yelled. Alastor's ears perked up, his head snapping to view the demon who interrupted his quiet cooking atmosphere. "Why hello, dear! Pleasant morning, isn't it?" Alastor said in a very fake upbeat voice, his smile widening at the sight of Lucifer's growing frustration.

Lucifer scowled. "Why in the unholy Hell were you cooking in the dark?" He breathed, still recovering from the greatest (or worst, depending on how one looks at it) scare of his life. Alastor tossed a frying pan he was holding in his right hand, flipping the bacon on its raw side. With his other hand, he grabbed a salt shaker and added a dash to the bacon. "I could see just fine before you disruptively turned on the lights, dear," He said, shooting Lucifer a brief glare. "...My eyes' red glow illuminates my near proximity quite enough. Now, why are you awake at such an early hour?" Alastor asked, focused on his cooking.

"I could ask you the same thing..." Lucifer mumbled under his breath, heading across the kitchen to the bar. A coffee maker sat on the marble, and Lucifer turned it on, grabbing a mug from the cupboard above. "I'm making breakfast for Charlie." He answered simply, tapping his foot impatiently as the coffee slowly poured into the mug. Alastor stifled a chuckle as he heard the coffee maker start. "Making breakfast? I didn't know coffee was considered a complete meal. At least I'm making bacon, which is an actual main food course item," he scoffed, then tossed the pan once more.

Lucifer sighed, grabbing the now full mug of coffee, resisting the urge to pour it on the Radio Demon. "I wasn't going to make coffee until I saw your sorry ass in the kitchen. I figured I'd fall asleep hearing you talk about..." he stumbled over his words trying to get something out, flicking his wrist around in circles, "...eh, your boring stuff." He finally concluded.

He snapped his fingers and an apron appeared wrapped around his small waist, labeled "KISS THE COOK", with a cute duck underneath the words. He smirked. "I suppose I better get started, though." Along with the apron, various ingredients appeared on the counter behind him.

Alastor eventually turned off the stove, then used tongs to place the bacon on a plate sitting on the counter. He then turned around, heading to the cabinet that just happened to be above where Lucifer was standing. Alastor rolled his eyes and headed over. "Pardon me," he said. Lucifer growled and stepped aside, then leaned against the counter. Alastor grabbed eight plates, then closed the cabinet door. He hummed to himself, about to walk over to the table, when something caught his attention. "What on earth are you wearing? I certainly will not engage in anything of the sort... how disgusting!" Alastor scoffed at the sight of Lucifer's apron.

Lucifer watched Alastor leave with a confused look on his face. He looked down at his apron and felt his face heat up. Shit, wrong one, that's for Lilith! He freaked out, snapping his fingers again. A baby blue apron replaced the other one with the words "DADDY DUCK" labeled on it. He smiled, remembering how he used to wear it when Charlie was just a little girl. He sighed, then started the process of breakfast.

After finishing making breakfast, Lucifer excitedly ran up to Charlie and Vaggie's shared room and knocked on the door. About a minute later, he saw Charlie open the door, her hair looking like a rat's nest. He chuckled. "Heyyy bitch! Breakfast is ready!" He exclaimed loudly, his childish tendencies getting the best of him as he swooped Charlie up and spun her around. Considering how much taller Charlie is to Lucifer, it looked pretty awkward from an outsider's view.

Charlie hollered in surprise, then smiled gently at her father's genuine attempt to be sweet. "Hi... good morning, Dad..." she said as Lucifer put her back on her feet. "Did you... did you make it?" Charlie asked, thinking it a fair assumption to make considering her dad's excitement. He never used to wake her up at this hour, even when she was a lot younger.

Lucifer let out a laugh that sounded all too similar to a spray bottle. "Of course I did!" He exclaimed. He marched into her room. "Hey, Maggie, breakfast is readyyy~!" He sang out, placing his hand over his chest and his other arm outstretched towards the bed. Vaggie sighed quietly, then exited the bathroom, fully ready for the day. "Thanks, Mr. Morningstar..." she said shyly, walking over to them.

"Oh, you can call me dad, no need for formalities!" Upon saying the last word, Lucifer faked vomiting and stuck his tongue out. Charlie awkwardly giggled, leaning into Lucifer's side, "Uhh dad? Her name is Vaggie." She said under her breath. Lucifer blinked. "That's what I said, right?" Vaggie quickly interrupted them. "It's okay, and... thanks, Dad," she smiled at Lucifer, earning a wide grin from him in return. "Let's head to the lobby."

Lucifer turned to Charlie. "Can you let everyone else know that I made breakfast? I would, but, hah, I don't know 'em all that well!" He laughed. Charlie nodded her head. She was about to get ready until Lucifer casually snapped his fingers, and she was in her usual getup, hair placed back to normal. She sighed with a smile. "Thanks, Dad." She said, giving him a tight squeeze, and running off with Vaggie to inform the others. Lucifer headed back down to the lobby and eventually into the dining room when he, once again, was faced with the big, bad Radio Demon. He grumbled something under his breath.

Alastor was sitting at the dining table reading a novel. Smooth jazz was playing quietly in the background by an unseen radio. The sound of footsteps made him raise a brow. When he realized who it was, he laughed. "Ah, Lucifer! Disturbing my peace once again..." Alastor remarked, glaring at Lucifer.

"Don't worry, soon there will be more people to 'disturb your peace'!" He childishly mocked the demon, then went into the kitchen, bringing back trays of pancakes and other breakfast foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. Alastor glanced above his book, secretly impressed by Lucifer's cooking. "Not half bad for someone who wears tacky aprons..." he mumbled under his breath, then looked back down at his novel.

Lucifer shot Alastor a glare. "Eh, having a daughter changes a lot about you." He shrugged, turning his attention to a crowd of demons walking into the dining room.

Alastor's ears perked up at his response. Was that supposed to be insulting? he thought to himself. He snapped his fingers, his novel disappearing into thin air.

Lucifer ran up to his daughter and gave her another heartfelt hug. "Here's a great breakfast for great warriors!" He announced to everyone, throwing his arm out to the table. "Eat up!"

Cherri Bomb threw her arms up and cheered. "Let's fucking go!" She yelled, and everyone except for Husk cheered along with her. Everyone then grabbed a plate and began serving themselves. Lucifer sat at the head of the table, Charlie sitting next to him on his left, and Vaggie next to her. Husk and Angel Dust were conversing next to Alastor, who had accidentally found himself to Lucifer's right. Niffty was showing Cherri her bug collection at the back end of the table, Cherri slowly beginning to fear this strange creature.

Lucifer watched as everyone happily ate his food, with the exception of Alastor.

"Good morning, everyone!" Charlie exclaimed, now standing up. "After everyone finishes their breakfast, let's all meet in the lobby to discuss our morning activity- kindness exercises!"
