Husk, after a few minutes of pondering to himself at the concierge desk, finally heads over to the kitchen where Vaggie and Charlie were putting away the groceries that Alastor and Lucifer got for them. "Hey, Princess?" He grumbled out, catching the blonde's attention. She skipped over to him, a smile plastered on her face. "What's up, Husk?"

The avian cat demon recoiled at her obnoxious display of happiness. "I uh, I think there's somethin' goin' on with the boss and the King." He grunted, refusing to make eye contact with Charlie. "Uh— I dunno, I think it's best if we all, uh, spoke about it."

Charlie tilted her head. "What do you mean? I haven't noticed anything. Is something wrong?" She asked innocently.

"Babe, you can't be serious..." Vaggie was heard from behind her, pinching the bridge of her nose to keep herself from yelling. "Your dad and Alastor are acting really weird to each other. Makes me wonder what the fuck happened while they were shopping." She mumbled the last sentence, putting a hand on her hip. Husk nodded in agreement. "I think we need to talk about it. Knowing my boss, things could get fucked up." The cat said, adjusting his bow tie.

"Hmm," Charlie said, pausing to think for a moment, "If you think we need to, then I can gather everyone here! I'm sure having Dad and Alastor talk about their feelings could help them strengthen their friendship-"

Husk almost choked. "No no no. No. That's the last fucking thing we need right now. I meant we need to call a meeting with everyone but them."

Vaggie placed a hand on Charlie's shoulder. "It'll make sense when we start this." She assured her girlfriend.

Charlie smiled softly. "Okay, I'll go ahead and call everyone else down. I'll be right back!" Charlie called as she ran to the hallway.

Vaggie sighed, then walked over to the groceries again to put away the rest of the items. "So, what do you think is happening with them?" She asked Husk. He let out a stressed sigh. "I don't know specifically. But knowing my boss? It's never good." He mumbled.

After a few minutes, Charlie came to the kitchen with Angel Dust, Cherri Bomb, and Niffty in tow. Angel was the first to say anything.

"Where's the short King and Smiles?"

Husk growled. "You'll see." He muttered, then led everyone to the meeting room, closing the door once they were seated at the table.

Vaggie grunted, catching everyone's attention suddenly. "This meeting was called to discuss the situation going on between Lucifer and Alastor." She announced, her arms folded across her chest.

"Oh, shit!" Angel reacted excitedly, slamming his hands on the table. "Count me in, babes."

   Niffty giggled mischievously.

Husk raised a brow with a look of discomfort forming on his face. "Uh, if I may— Niff, why don't you go keep the boss company? Tell him about your bugs... or... whatever."

Before he could blink, Niffty was out of her seat and headed to the door, all her interest in this meeting suddenly vanished into thin air at the mention of her bug collection. Husk made a strange noise of panic while jumping in her way. "Don't mention this meeting to the boss. It's for his own good. If he asks, just say you don't care what we're doing, okay?" He breathed out in relief when Niffty nodded her head enthusiastically.

He opened the door for the cyclops demon and she dashed out faster than lightning, leaving an echo of a giggle in the room.

Charlie cleared her throat and adjusted herself. "So... what has anyone noticed about my dad and Alastor?" She asked, genuinely curious.
