"Vegas, you're insane, bro. I suggested rescuing Pete, and now you're partnering with his business associates. Are you out of your mind? What if he shows up at the meeting or does something to Pete?"
I smirked as Macau voiced his concerns. "That man is a coward," I replied confidently, adjusting his watch. "He'll never prioritize anything over money. And I'm excited to meet him at the meeting today."
Macau sighed in exasperation. "You're impossible," he muttered.
"Well, you and Jin didn't approve of my other plan," I retorted. "So we have to go with this one now."
Macau rolled his eyes. "Your other plan involved breaking into his home and starting a war, which is just crazy. If you want to die, die alone. Don't take the whole clan down with you, bro."
I simply looked at him and stated firmly, "I will not die without saving Pete."
"Let's go. I don't want to be late," he agreed. "This meeting is going to be so fun." With a sense of anticipation, he headed out, ready to face whatever awaited him, determined to save Pete at any cost.

I smiled calmly, my demeanor exuding confidence. "Mr. Jo, we really appreciate your offer. We'll definitely consider it," I replied smoothly, my gaze shifting to Ben, who appeared on the brink of losing his composure. Before Ben could interject, I continued, addressing Jo directly. "But Jo, don't you think it's not as beneficial for us as it could be?" I paused for effect, my tone implying a deeper meaning. "If you believe that, then perhaps I should take my offer elsewhere. I'm pressed for time, and I already have another party in mind for this deal." He leaned back, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "You know Mr. Jan, right?" I mentioned, fully aware of Jan's contentious relationship with Jo.
As Jo quickly accepted my proposal upon hearing Jan's name, Ben's jaw dropped in surprise, his nerves palpable. Sensing the tension, I smoothly transitioned. "It's just a great thing we'll be working together now, Mr. Jo. Shouldn't we celebrate it?" I suggested,my tone congenial. "Of course, we should," Jo agreed, his relief evident. I turned to Ben with a casual smile. "Ben, you should organize a party this weekend," I suggested, his gaze unwavering.
With no other option but to accept, Ben nodded his head in agreement. I couldn't help but smirk at his compliance, knowing I had the upper hand in the situation.

"Vegas, don't tell me you are going to attack him at that party," Macau exclaimed with concern.
"No, I will not do it," I reassured Macau, who looked exasperated with the whole situation. "I promise I will do nothing."
Or will he?:)
