The man lets out blood curdling screams, muffled by the fact his vocal cords are being torn apart in the moment.

Lee still hasn't noticed your presence yet. He's too focused on something else.

You stand there in silence as you watch him tear into the flesh of a random innocent man, unable to move.

After a few moments, the man stops screaming and moving.

He's dead now.

The man lays there lifeless as Lee continues to feed on him for what felt like forever, you're still unable to move from shock.

You know what he does, you don't know why he does it. You just wished you hadn't had to witness it.

There was blood everywhere. All over Lee, all over the dead man, all over the leaves on the floor and the rocks.

Flesh chunks in Lee's mouth and on the man's lifeless body.

You felt sick as you watched him chew into the flesh.

That same familiar scent from when you first met Lee fills the area around you. Blood.

Finally, after what felt like forever, you suddenly snap out of shock and throw up on the ground.

Which makes Lee look over and finally notice your presence.

You cough after you throw up, tears forming in your eyes as you start to process what just happened.

Lee's face switches to guilt instantly as he realises you just witnessed everything.

He drops what he was in the middle of and runs over to you.

"Y/n.." He speaks quietly.
You can hear the guilt in his voice.

He reaches his hand out to your cheek slowly, his hands were covered in blood and it was trailing down his wrist and dripping from his fingers.

"No, don't touch-" You mumble as you quickly move away from him to avoid touch.

You could hardly talk.

"You saw this?" Lee spoke quietly.

You could hardly muster up the strength to reply.

His presence in the moment alone made you feel even worse, and the thought of you witnessing him do the atrocity he did made him feel even more guilty.

You were at a loss for words, and instead could only let out quick, shaky breaths.

You had never witnessed a murder before, especially not like this.
Especially not involving somebody you love.

You didn't know how to take this, your body feels numb and cold and your hands start to shake a little.

Your tears start to roll down your cheeks slowly, you had a blank and pale expression on your face.

Lee's expression is a mix of guilt and stress.

"I'm sorry." He mumbles quietly.
"I'm sorry you had to see that."

"I couldn't control myself." He sighs, the look of shame and guilt in his eyes are undeniable.

He runs his fingers through his hair, not knowing what to say. He's trying to think of ways to explain the situation to you, but there's no way to make it seem normal.

His eyes shift away from you for a moment, before he turns back and finally looks away from the horrific scene that you can't even bare to look at again.

"Y/n, say something." He wished you would talk. The silence was killing him.
"Please."

You feel dizzy, you couldn't get the image of Lee ripping into an innocent man's flesh out of your head.
What made it worse was that the poor guy was alive, he didn't even at least wait for him to die first.

Lee suddenly reaches his hand out to your face again. But before he could touch you, you slap his hand away.

"You're disgusting, Lee." You finally spoke.
The tone in your voice was stern and clear.

The suddenness of you slapping his hand away took him a bit by surprise, as he wasn't expecting it at all. It shocked him in a way, but he also understood it.

Everything that just happened was disgusting, he's aware of this.

"I'm sorry." He spoke quietly, not fighting back or putting up a fight against your words.

His expression becomes even more guilty, as if he knows exactly what he did was wrong, but there's nothing he can do to change that now anyway.

"He was alive!" You yelled at him.

"I know." He says quietly, barely even speaking above a whisper.

He looks down at his hands, the blood covering them and he can tell you're disgusted by the sight.

"I couldn't control myself, and I-" He doesn't know what to say anymore, and he's not even sure why he's defending himself.

"I can't be around you." You say as you wipe the tears streaming down your face with your sleeve.

You turn around and begin to walk away fast.

You didn't turn around, you didn't want to see Lee in the moment.

You keep walking, picking up your pace now. You're nearly running.

Your vision is blurry, from the tears forming in your eyes. Your face heats up and you start to feel nauseous again.

You start to cry and your legs start to feel weak, you can't keep running anymore.

You collapse behind a tree, making sure Lee wasn't in sight as you drop to the ground and lean your back against the tree.

You feel weak. Your stomach starts to churn and twist.

You clutch your stomach and close your eyes, trying to find a way to calm down. You start crying again, the tears streaming down your cheeks feel so hot, and the air grows hotter and you feel even weaker.

Your head starts spinning and you feel so light. You can barely breathe, and all you feel is the rising adrenaline, rushing through your whole body.

You lay there, leaned up against a tree in the middle of nowhere on the floor. You can't breathe properly through your crying and sniffing.

All you could think about was what you witnessed and that random man, you hated the fact the guy you loved was a murderous cannibal.
You didn't know what to do.

But you still loved him, the love wasn't going to just fade away that easily, and it hurt you so much.

You wished you could change him, you could never hate him for what he did, because you loved him so much. But that doesn't mean you weren't angry at him either, you would need a bit of time to yourself.
