Lee - The Creepy Guy Outside Pt 19

"I love you." Lee repeats, his fingers now slowly running through your hair.

Before you could say anything, you hear a voice screaming for help in the trees behind you, making you both pause.

"What was that?" You ask.

You hear the voice again.

"That voice. It's familiar." Lee says as he glances over at the trees.

"We should go check it out." You say.

You start to walk away but Lee grabs your wrist firmly.

"It could be a trap. There's a lot of traps around here." Lee stops you.

"You said the voice sounded familiar, what if someone fell and needs our help. Or worse, what if they're in trouble." You pull away from his grip.

"I don't want to put you in danger." He says.

"Someone needs help." You say as you start to walk towards the noise.

Lee sighs and follows you.

"Don't you remember what happened the last time you followed the direction of a scream?" Lee looks at you from the corner of his eye.

You say nothing, not wanting to think about that moment again.

You didn't want to leave who ever was screaming as they may actually need help.

You continue walking for a few moments until you both pause.

In front of you was Jared in a headlock with a knife held against him by the exact same girl who was following you and Lee.

Lee's eyes widen slightly as he stops in his tracks.

"Help! Please! This psycho won't let me go!" Jared struggled to speak.

"What is this??" Lee says.

He tries to run over to Jared but the girl holds out her knife, forcing him to stay put.

"That's the same girl that's been following us!" You say.

"Why are you doing this?" Lee asked.

"You killed my boyfriend." The girl spoke quietly, she still had a strong grip on Jared.

"Both of you did." She spoke again, pointing to both you and Lee.

Jared looked at Lee, confused and scared.

You gave a side glance to Lee, he looked just as confused as you were.

You hadn't killed anybody ever.
You know Lee had though.

It was so bad that he didn't even know which guy the girl was talking about.

Lee was silent, he didn't know what to say.
He felt guilty and nervous, also worried for Jared.

"We can talk about this, I can explain. Just please let Jared go." Lee says.

"What? Explain about the fact you murdered and ATE my boyfriend, how are you supposed to explain that?" The girl says as she holds the neck more against Jared's neck.
