You were waiting for Kyle after school and he was taking forever. It had already been 15 minutes since school had ended and you were starting to think he wasn't going to show up.

Hurry the fuck up.
You thought you yourself, rolling your eyes.

Just as you were about to give up and walk home by yourself, Kyle calls out to you and runs over. "Y/N! I'm sorry, I had an after school detention." He yells.

"A 15 minute detention? They get that short?" You ask.

"I had Mr Hillman for my maths class. My friend made a joke about him and I laughed, then I had to clean the classroom windows before I could go home." He says.

"That man is so dramatic." You laugh.

"Anyways we need to get home fast, It's due tomorrow and I am not failing." You begin to walk and he follows.

"Just get in. It will be fine," You say.

"What if I slip and hit my head? Your house is so god damn big." He complains.

You were trying to sneak Kyle in through your bedroom window as you noticed your parent's car parked in the driveway. You didn't want to deal with them right now.

"Hurry up." You say.

Kyle begins to climb up the wall slowly and successfully makes it into your room. He then grabs your hand and helps pull you up. You climb inside and then shut the window behind you.

"See, wasn't that hard. You didn't slip and hit your head." You chuckle.

"Actually you wouldn't have climbed up if it wasn't for me." He says.

"I've climbed up my own house many times?" You give him a weird look.

"Well, I helped you up. It would have taken longer for you to get up if it wasn't for me." He says proudly.

"Okay whatever, we have work to catch up on that we need to finish quickly tonight." You say, pushing past him.

"We can easily finish 10 pages in one night. And still have plenty of time to ourselves afterwards." He smirks.

You ignore him and begin to open up your laptop on your desk.

"We can bluetooth our presentation on the classroom TV." You say, opening up powerpoint.

"And you need to help. Do some research on your phone or something." You add.

"I don't really wanna." He yawns.

"Well then you won't be graded." You reply.

"How will the teacher find out? I'll just say we both did it together." He says.

"No."

"Yes."

"No. Kyle. You can't just do that. How are you supposed to get anywhere in the future if you don't know anything?"

"It's just a small thing it doesn't matter." He says.

"Well. If you're not doing anything there's no point of you being here then is there? So you can leave." You say.
