Your eyes slowly blink open, it was dark and the only light that was illuminating the room was the moonlight from outside your window.

You feel a weight on top of you, looking down to see Kyle.
He was sleeping on your chest comfortably.

You look at the wall to the clock. It was 12:27 AM.

Shit. Kyle's parents are probably so worried about where he is.
You thought to yourself.

You try to shrug him awake, but he stays deep asleep.

"Kyle, wake up." You say whilst attempting to shake him awake.

He opens his eyes slowly.

"It's 12 AM, you should really get home." You say, gently pushing him off you and sitting up.

"Huh?" He says quietly.

"Your parents are probably so worried." You add.

"It's fine, I'm always out my dad is used to it, he doesn't care." Kyle says midway through a yawn.

"What about your parents? Wouldn't they have checked into your room to see if you came back home and then freaked out once they saw me." He adds.

He does remember what happened earlier.

"Doesn't look like it or else we'd both be dead. My parents are also out tonight to see a friend, they don't check all the time if I come home." You answer.

"Look's like we're home alone then." Kyle smirks.

"Are you sure your dad isn't worried?" You ask.

"It's fine. I do this all the time."

"Go home, Kyle." You say.

"I don't want to."

You look into his eyes, trying to be serious. But he just smirks instead.

"Kyle."

"I'd rather stay with you." He says.

He grabs you and pulls you towards him.

He rests your head on his chest and pulls the blanket over the two of you.

"Let's just sleep and worry about this tomorrow, I'm too tired." He yawns.

You don't fight against him because you wanted this as much as you didn't want to admit it.

You lay on his chest and close your eyes.

He starts to play with your hair, twirling it around his fingers.

You soon start to fall asleep in his arms.

6:30 AM

Your alarm clock goes off, reminding you to get ready for school.

Kyle was already awake before you.
He was holding you and staring at the wall.

"Morning." He says.

"Good morning." You say as you flip over onto your back.

"Are you going to school today?" He asked.
