You were awkwardly sitting there, trying to think of a suggestion.

Lee drove you back home with a car that literally belonged to your dad.

How was he supposed to get home now?

Clearly you both didn't think this through.

"Well..." You start talking.

"Taxi maybe?.."

Lee looks over at you.

"Maybe. But, I'd actually rather spend more time with you." He smirks slightly.

"Did you plan this the whole time?" You ask with an eyebrow raised.

"Maybe."

Lee turns off the engine and slowly exits the car.

"What about my dad? He is still here, it's not like he can go anywhere without his car anyways. He doesn't even know about you yet! And he also doesn't know-"

"Shhh it's fine. I'll climb through the window." He cuts you off.

Before you can even answer, he starts walking over to your window, signalling for you to just go inside and meet him in your room.

"What am I even going to explain to my dad?" You think to yourself.

You roll your eyes and get ready to walk into the front door.

"Where have you been?!" Your dad stands behind the door as you open it. His arms are crossed and he doesn't look too happy.

"I-"

"Whose clothes are they??" He scowls.

You look down, remembering you're wearing Lee's clothes.

"Uh-"

"You have a lot to explain, get inside now." He sighs angrily.

As you walk through the door, you start to think of excuses and lies to tell your father, there's no way you can just tell him what actually happened.

He points to the table, signalling for you to sit down, he's silent too.

You know that when he does this, he's serious.

And that it always ends up bad.

You sigh nervously as you sit down, you can't maintain eye contact with him, you can't do that when you lie.

He sits down in front of you, still looking pissed off.

"I went to a party dad." You start to talk.

Your breath was shaky, you were thinking about the fact your father will never know what is going on with your life at the moment, the fact you got kidnapped last night and probably nearly killed, the murder you had witnessed with the boy you were in love with involved, the fact there's been a random boy staying at your house, the fact that one boy is also dangerous. Well not to you at least, you trusted Lee more than anybody, maybe even more than your own father.

"...A friend.. gave me clothes to use because I fell in the pool.. and I um-"

"What friend?" Your dad cuts you off.

You could tell he knew these clothes belonged to a guy.

Your dad was often really strict about you being around guys, he just wanted to protect you from them, since you had been in previous heartbreaks. He couldn't stand when you hanged around guys, but he also knows he can't do much about it as you're 18 now anyways.

"Just a friend, dad. It's fine." You say.

Your leg was shaking underneath the table.

"And you stayed at his for the night? Without even texting me??" He brings up his phone opened to your contact, a dozen messages sent to you with no answer.

"My phone fell in the pool.. with me. It's broken, I'm sorry dad."

"You didn't even bother to tell whatever jerk's house you were staying at to message me instead?? Did you even THINK about how worried I would have been?" Your dad started to raise his voice now.

There really wasn't much you could do when the kidnappers stole your phone but it's not like you could tell him everything anyways, it would definitely make things worse. And that really fucking sucked.

Even if he did find out, he would definitely inform the police, and the police would find the kidnappers dead, because of Lee.

And you didn't want to let Lee get caught, you wanted to protect him. Like he protected you.

"I'm sorry dad, I was really drunk and-"

"I don't wanna hear this bullshit, I need some time to myself, just go to your room or whatever." Your dad cut you off and stormed away from the table.

You could tell he was hurt, you sort of felt bad. But at the same time, what could you really do?

You sigh and walk back up to your room, putting your bag on the floor.

Lee was already waiting in your bed with a smirk.

But his smirk quickly disappeared as he noticed you were upset.

"What's wrong, Y/n?" He asks softly.

You don't say anything, because if you do you'll most likely break into tears.

You've had a very hard week, so many crazy things were all happening to you at the same time, it was too much for you to handle.

He noticed your silence and he got up from your bed, walking over to you and pulling you into a hug.

"It's okay, Y/N. You're safe with me. I'm here." He wipes a tear from your eye.

He kisses your forehead and runs his fingers through your soft hair in effort to calm you down, and it worked a little bit.

You hug him tighter and cry into his shoulders.

He picks you up and carefully puts you into your bed, kissing your cheek and then crawling next to you.

He lays down beside you, still holding you and trying to comfort you.

One thing you loved about Lee is that you didn't even need to tell him what was wrong, he just knew sometimes. And he always knew how to comfort you.

It was almost as if you had won the lottery meeting Lee, the only difference being his dark history. But you still loved him, you couldn't help it.

You eventually fell asleep in his arms, exhausted from all the stress and crying.
