Your eyes slowly start to blink open, you're instantly blinded by the bright light facing over you making your cover your eyes with your hands and groan.

You try to sit up but instantly fall back down as you yelp in pain.

You squint your eyes open, looking at your surroundings.

You were in a white bed, in a room that looked like a hospital room.

"Fuck.." You moan as your stomach ached in pain and you had a raging headache.

Your eyes teared up and all you could feel was the pain.

"Y/N!" A familiar voice called out as they ran over to you and held your hand.

You open your eyes to see Lee, with a few bandages that were smudged with blood, he looked relieved you were awake, but you still had no idea what was going on.

"You're awake!" He says, pressing his forehead against your hand.

He had tears in his eyes and he looked like he had been crying for a long time.

You instantly remember what happened before you blacked out, you remember everything.

"Lee.." You try to sit up but fall back down again.

"I thought you weren't going to make it." He looks up at you with tears in his eyes.

You find the strength in your hands as you begin to hold his hand tighter.

"Are you okay?" You mumble, noticing his bleeding through his bandages.

"I'm fine." He says, he seems more worried about you than himself.

You place your hand over his cheek, he was really warm.

"You blacked out." He says.

"What happened?" You caress his cheek with your hand.

He says nothing, just rubbing his hand softly against your other hand.

"Lee what happened? Is Jared okay?" You ask, trying to get up but he stops you, gently pushing you back down onto the pillow.

"Jared is in the other room resting." He says.

You can tell his tone sounds unsure.

"And the girl?"

"She ran away." He said.

"I told the police we had been attacked after I called an ambulance for you and Jared." He adds.

"They don't know what happened?" You ask with a crack in your voice.

"Not the full story. If I told them that, we'd both be locked up." He said.

"Even me?"

"Not informing the police about a murder is also a crime." He said.

You sigh and shuffle back into your pillow.

"Who knows I'm here?" You ask.

"Everybody."

You look at him with slight surprise.

"They put it on the news." He adds.

Great, now my dad knows.
You think.

"I'm just so glad you survived, you lost so much blood I was nearly sure you wouldn't make it." He says softly.
