[The news of Gongmen City's invasion reached the Jade Palace. Po, Sonic, and the Furious Five gathered as Shifu read a scroll that was delivered to him in the arena.]
Shifu: Are you familiar with the master of Gongmen City?
Po: You mean Master Thundering Rhino?
Shifu: Yes.
Sonic: As in, the son of the legendary Master Flying Rhino?
Shifu: Yes.
[Shifu walks forward, everyone following him.]
Po: And the slayer of the ten-thousand serpents of the Valley of Woe?!
Shifu: [Stopping at the edge of the stairs] He's dead.
[Po, Sonic, and the Five gasp as they are shocked.]
Po: Whoa. [He reads the message with Tigress reading over his shoulder.]
Sonic: What? He's dead?
Crane: [Po hands it to Moneky] That's impossible!
[They started to walk forward again.]
Sonic: How could Master Rhino get killed if he's great at Kung Fu? I heard that he has a strong and durable horn that is very helpful for defense.
Tigress: That's right, Sonic. His horn defense is impervious to any technique.
[Shifu looked back at them as he led them out of the gates and down a few stairs.]
Shifu: This was no technique. Lord Shen had created a weapon, one that breathes fire and spits metal. [Stopped and turned to them] Unless he is stopped... this could be the end... of kung fu.
Po: But me and Sonic just got kung fu!
Sonic: Yeah, there's no way we're losing it after everything we did!
Shifu: And now, you two must save it! [Turned around and pointed his staff towards the vague direction of the valley, away from the palace] Go! Destroy this weapon and bring Lord Shen to justice!
[The Furious Five instantly set off as they leaped/flew forward. Po and Sonic pumped before they followed them.]
Po: Okay, yeah! Let's go! let's... [He and Sonic stop] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second! [He and Sonic turned to face Shifu] How can me and Sonic do this? I mean, how can kung fu stop something that stops kung fu?
Sonic: Yeah, he has a point.
Shifu: Remember, Dragon Warriors: Anything is possible... when you two have inner peace.
[Seeing that this could be a solution, Po and Sonic smiled before setting off with the others. Down at the village, everyone cheered for their heroes as they headed off and began their mission. Both doing a roll, Po and Sonic ran alongside the five as they started muttering to themselves.]
Po & Sonic: Inner peace, inner peace, inner peace...
Po: Peace on.
Sonic: Yeah...
Mr. Ping: Oh, Po! Sonic!
[Po and Sonic, caught off guard, stopped along with the others as they reached Mr. Ping's Noodle shop. They saw Mr. Ping approach them, carrying a large backpack, which spilled a large amount of contents upon being dropped on the ground.]
Mr. Ping: I got your two's travel pack. I packed you both food for weeks: cookies, buns, vegetables, I even packed all your action figures. [Playing with an action figure of Viper and Tigress before holding them up] See?
[Po and Sonic are embarrassed, but Sonic is blushing under his fur as his checks turn light red, Monkey laughs, pointing at the figures before pointing at the duo, and Tigress looks at Po and Sonic in amusement. Viper's face heated up as she blushed, looking up at Sonic in shock that he had a mini-figure of her.]
Po: [Tries to play it cool] Oh! Uhm-Hey! We don't know what those are. Hehe. [Tigress gently smacked Monkey's hand down before trotting away along with Viper]
Sonic: [Tries to play it cool] Yeah, never seen them before in our lives.
Po: [Grabs the Tigress figure from Mr. Ping] Dad, you got scratches on my Tigress.
Sonic: And on my Viper. [Grabs the Viper figure from Mr. Ping.]
Mr. Ping: I also packed your two paintings of our best times together, just in case you two get lonely! [Showed Po and Sonic some of his old paintings] That's me and Po making noodles... and that's me and Po eating noodles... and that's me giving Po a piggyback ride! [Mr. Ping and Po look at a picture of Mr. Ping squished under a baby Po] Isn't that cute... on second thought, I think I'll hang on to this one. Ah, and this is the drawing Sonic made for me when he was still young.
[Mr. Ping showed a drawn picture of him, Po, and Sonic with the words on it that said "My family." Sonic's peach muzzle turned reddish-pink as Viper, his girlfriend, adored and giggled at the adorable picture he drew.]
Sonic: Okay, Dad! That's enough, please! [Takes the picture from Ping away and laughs awkwardly, trying to hide his embarrassment.]
Viper: That's a nice drawing you did, Sonic.
Sonic: [To Viper] Uh... thanks?
Po: Hey, uh, Dad...they're waiting for us.
Mr. Ping: Of course, of course... you both have a job to do... far from home... in a strange city, filled with strange people and strange noodles... facing horrible danger from which you two might never return! Don't go, boys!
Sonic: We're sorry, Dad. But we must go.
Po: We're the Dragon Warriors. And it's kinda our job to save kung fu. And if we don't... what are we?
Mr. Ping: You two are my sons!
[Po and Sonic stare at him, mouth open, and both don't answer. Mr. Ping grows nervous.]
Mr. Ping: ...Right?
Tigress: Po, Sonic, it's time.
Po: Uh... goodbye.
[Tigress watches Po and Sonic walk off with Po holding the travel pack. She smiles reassuringly at Mr. Ping.]
Tigress: Don't worry, Mr. Ping. They'll be back before you can say "noodles".
[She sets off along with the Five. Mr. Ping sadly watches them as they leave the village. As he then watched go, he thought about the possibility of never seeing his sons again.]
Mr. Ping: Noodles... Please be safe, boys.
