[As the light and smoke from the blast faded, early morning has arrived. On the deck of his destroyed ship, a disheveled Shen coughs as he regains consciousness and starts getting up. He looks up at his destroyed cannon, tilted high in the air, held up by several ropes. He turns his head to see his ruined fleet on both sides of the ship. Shen was in complete disbelief of what happened to everything he worked on to achieve China's conquest and how could he, of noble blood, be brought so low by a panda and a blue hedgehog.]
Lord Shen: H-how did you...? [He turns his head slightly- Po and Sonic are standing a couple of feet behind him] How did you two do it?
[Po and Sonic shrugs.]
Po: You know, you just keep your elbows up and keep the shoulders loose.
Sonic: Po, that's now what he meant.
Lord Shen: Not that. How did you two find peace? [To Po] I took away your parents! [To Sonic] Even your Owl! Everything! I-- I scarred you two for life.
Po: See, that's the thing, Shen. Scars heal.
Lord Shen: No, they don't. Wounds heal.
Sonic: Oh, yeah. What do scars do? They fade, I guess?
Lord Shen: I don't care what scars do.
Sonic: Oh, but you should, Shen. You gotta let go of that stuff from the past because it just doesn't matter.
Po: Yeah, the only thing that matters is what you choose to be now.
[Shen's eyes widened as he listened to the panda and the hedgehog's wise words sink in.]
Lord Shen: You're right. Then I choose... THIS!!!!
[In a flash, Shen pulls out some blades and lunges furiously at Po and Sonic, forcing them to dodge out of the way as the fight begins. The panda barely manages to dodge while the hedgehog is doing just fine evading Shen's attack as they step back quickly, ducking and spinning to avoid the slashes, at one point Po is doing the splits and Sonic is doing the limbo. Shen rapidly swung his weapons at his opponents, hoping to strike them, but kept missing. Hoping to his feet, Po spun and put his paw on Shen's back, switching places to where Shen's back was facing the open water. Yelling out, Shen swiftly turned around and managed to slice some fur off Po's face on his cheek, but this didn't hurt the panda that much.]
Sonic: It doesn't have to be this way, Shen!
Lord Shen: Yes, it does! [Attacks Sonic]
Sonic: [Dodges Shens attacks] Buddy, look around you! [Side step out of the way from a blade strike] You're fleet's destroyed, you're army is gone, [Jumped backward from another blade strike] you lost! Just give up!
Lord Shen: Never! Not while I still draw my last breath! [Threw several knives at Sonic]
[Using his great reflexes and incredible agility, Sonic moved his body around quickly to jump, duck, and flip to avoid all the knives.]
Sonic: What's the point anymore? What's killing me and Po gonna prove? What are you trying to prove? [Dashed towards Shen and threw a right punch]
Lord Shen: [Dodges Sonic's attack] You both may have beaten my army, but at least I'll still have the satisfaction of putting my blade through you two to show destiny that I won't be controlled!
[Sonic threw a left punch to Shen, only for the peacock to swing his blades at the attack. Sonic saw the blades coming towards his hand and quickly retracted it. Sonic dodges a blade strike before throwing a right punch at Shen, but the peacock does the same attack and Sonic retracts his hand and arm back again. They did this 3 times until Sonic jumped backward next to Po thinking about this.]
