Po and Sonic confess and explain

[Down below while Shen and his wolf army prepare for the takeover of China, Po, Sonic, and the Five stealthily sneak down the streets.]

Tigress: This way.

[She stopped behind a wall, near the entrance to Gongmen Jail.  She saw the two wolf guards guarding the door before hearing the signal to get to the factory.  They leaped onto a rooftop, abandoning the entrance and leaving it open.  With that, Tigress opened up the doors to the jail and everyone got inside. Po and Sonic triped and tumbled down into the main area while everyone else jumped down to join them. The place is empty, save for Masters Ox and Croc, who hadn't left their cell.]

Master Ox: YOU TWO! What did you both do?! [Gripped the bars] It's chaos up there! What happened to stopping Shen?!

[Tigress helped Po get on his feet while Sonic got up on his own. Their friends stared at them, confused but disappointed that they let Shen go.]

Sonic: Uuuuuhhh... [Looked to at his left arm and saw the same cut, Shen gave to him with a little bit of blood coming out of it.]

Viper: [Noticed the cut on Sonic's arm and made a cringe expression] Sonic, did you get cut?!

Sonic: Oh, this? Don't worry, it's just a scratch from Shen's blades. I'll just... [Zipped off in 10 seconds and then came back to the spot he was with a piece of white cloth wrapped around his left arm] There. Problem solved.

Viper: Oh, good.

Monkey: Okay, now that's taken care of... what did happen back there? Why did you and Po let Shen getaway?

Sonic: Well...

[Po and Sonic looked at them nervously before walking in front of the group facing them. Unsure what to say, Po tried to make up an excuse.]

Po: Hey guys, come on. Give us a little credit. Me and Sonic meant for him to get away. Because, uh... it was a trick, was a plot... and I thought we might... figure out his plot... more.

Sonic: Uh... yeah! What he said. [Smiles awkardly]

[The Five were not impressed. They were understandably, bamboozled by the explanation.]

Mantis: That makes... no sense... at all.

Po: What do you mean? Sure it does. Right, Sonic?

Sonic: Of course. It makes perfect sense⎯

Tigress: Po, Sonic.

[Finally had enough of this and losing her patience, Tigress steps up to Po and Sonic, making them step back and Po fall backward on his rear.]

Tigress: The truth. You both had Shen, but then you two did nothing and froze. What happened?

Po: [Stumbled into a sitting position] What are you talking about I don't know⎯ What are you talking about? I-yeah- okay, he caught us off guard.

[Tigress kneels down to face Po and Sonic eye to eye.]

Tigress: The truth.

[There was a moment of silence. Po and Sonic stare at Tigress and she does the same. Po slowly opens his mouth about to say something... and closes it. Sonic did the same thing Po did. Seeing that Po, nor Sonic, weren't answering, Tigress got up.]

Tigress: Fine. They will keep you far from danger.

[She gestures to Masters Ox and Croc as Po and Sonic glances at them. Croc pressing his face to the bars, his eyes glued on them and Ox having his back to the door, looking over at them with crossed arms.]
