Chapter Twenty Six

M/n woke up and looked around the room, his body feeling sore. M/n sat up and looked at his phone.

"Huh? A text from Kisaki?"

(M/n's pov)
I sighed before putting my phone down and getting up, Takemichi is going to cause trouble. I got dressed and put on my Valhalla jacket before walking out of the room. When I went to leave the apartment I was pulled into Taiju's chest.

"Where are you going?"

"Out"

"Where?"

"Taiju, we've been through this before"

"*sigh* Then at least take Koko and Inui with you"

"Fine, if it means you'll leave me alone"
I went to leave again but was pulled back once more.

"Taiju-"
I was cut off by him taking off my jacket and putting a Black Dragon's one on me instead.

"I had a perfect jacket already"

"This one suits you better"
I sighed and just went with it then walked out with Koko and Inui following me. 

We walked into the mall, I could feel everyone's eyes on me or more like the jacket.

"Where to first?"

"Oh right, let's go to the books. I can get a few gifts there first"
We walked to the book store and I looked around. I grabbed some magazines for Emma and mangas for Chifuyu and a few books for Naoto. Then I went to the video game store and got a few games for Michi, Akkun, Takuya, Yamagishi and Makoto. Then I went to another store and just got more gifts for my friends and mates.

I got Hina a sweater with kittens on it and Yuzuha some CD she has been looking for. I got Baji a new lighter, Chifuyu might get mad at me later but oh well. I got Hanma some cologne, mainly because I can't stand the cigarette smell on him.

I got Kisaki an extra pair of glasses, then I sneaked off from Koko and Inui to get theirs. I got some heels for Inui and I'm just giving Koko some money, I know he'd prefer that. That was just for my friends and brother, I still had my mates to buy for. I decided to take a break and went to a cafe in the mall.

I was getting texts and calls from Kokonoi and Inui but I ignored them. As I enjoyed my tea I thought about how I can keep the peace between Toman and Black Dragon but also continue to run Valhalla. Being the Luna of three gangs is hard, I don't know what to do. I just pushed the thought away and went to leave to finish my shopping.

Once I finished I met up with Kokonoi and Inui but got scolded for leaving without them. I just ignored them and went back to the apartment. Once at the apartment I put the gifts up as I will wrap them later, after putting them away I got a call from Hina.

"Hina, is something wrong?"

"Your stupid brother...he...he broke up with me"
I heard her cry on the other side.

"Oh Hina, there has to be a good reason"

"He said he likes someone else"

"Michi said that? I don't believe it, I know he loves you Hina"

"I can't believe I wasted my time on that jerk"
I chuckled at her ranting but I knew something was wrong. Takemichi loves Hinata with all of his heart, so why is he doing this? Did something happen while I was here? This doesn't make sense, what happened to Michi? I listened to her cry and vent before she hung up to probably cry some more.

"*sigh* Michi, what have you done now?"

"Talking to yourself now"
I looked up at Taiju who sat beside me on the bed.

"My brother broke up with his girlfriend, but I don't get why"

"Maybe he got tired of her"
I smack him for saying that before moving so I was laying on his chest.

"That's impossible he loves her with his whole heart, this makes no sense. Why would he do this now? Why on Christmas Eve?"
No matter how I try to see Takemichi's reason for breaking up with Hina, I just don't believe he'd do something like this.

Taiju looked at M/n and could tell he was overthinking again, even with the little time he's spent with M/n. Taiju has already gotten a idea of how M/n is, how he thinks and feels. Or it could be the fact they're mates but it's something that makes Taiju feel...off? Never has he cared about an Omega but now he'll do anything to make M/n happy. 

Never did he let someone talk to him with ease but M/n could, never did he let someone tell him what to do but M/n says jump he asks how high. Could it be that M/n holds so much power over two gangs that he loves a powerful Omega? Taiju didn't understand it but he knew one thing for sure...he'd do anything for M/n.
